  1. I hate seeing Bo run. I'm glad he is a running weapon, but the less I see him running, the better. And fortunately, given we have an offense that is getting an amazing 40% of our yards on the ground, versus UW that is only getting 20% of their yardage rushing, thankfully, we rarely need to have Bo run. And if we remember last year when we played the Huskies, he was injured on a running play which effected him the rest of the season.
  2. I think you are right. Our defense certainly beat the crap out of him and he was hurting late in that game. I was literally sitting here looking at the Huskies last 2 weeks of football and asking myself how in the world did we lose to those guys. I think you just helped me answer that question. But, I think that if we get another shot at them in LV, that we will rock their world.
  3. And I had to look back further to see prior to 2019 when was the last time Oregon held 3 or more opponents to 6 points or less. 1961. 62 years ago. We held 4 opponents to 6 points or less. But that was way back when offenses scored nowhere near the points like teams do today.
  4. Now, all we have to do is beat Cal, USC, ASU, and OSU... in order to have another shot at the Mutts. And I really like our chances.
  5. USC should not even be in the Top 25. After giving up 49 to 3-5 Cal, and winning by only 1, there's no way they shouldn't have dropped in the rankings. I don't think it will be long until Riley is off to the NFL.
  6. Oregon 44 Cal 17 And we'll score 37 of those points in the first 3 1/2 quarters, whereby Lanning will pull everyone out for the remainder of the game.
  7. I was close on the Duck's score with 38, but never-ever would I have thought that we'd hold Utah in Salt Lake to two FGs. Well done, TerryM9!
  8. Surprisingly, we don't have to go back very far at all to answer your question. In 2019, we started off with 4 of our first 6 games holding the opposition to 6 points or less. And even more amazing, in 5 of the first 6 games that year, we held our opponent to 7 points or less. And in the second half of that season, we held one more team to just 7 points. Btw, our first game of that 2019 season was against Auburn in Dallas where we lost 21-27. Anyone happen to remember who Auburn's freshman quarterback was?
  9. My guess is that because our offense is so incredibly balanced, that Bo will be penalized for that in regards to the Heisman. Which would be totally wrong and a shame.
  10. Followed by Lanning saying, "Next season."
  11. Cal leading SC 36-29 late in the 3rd
  12. Go Cal Bears -- Beat USuCs! Bears 36-29 with 4:42 left in the 3rd.
  13. This road win reminds me of the Dennis Dixon days. I don't remember seeing a road win as dominant as this at an extremely tough place to play since those days.
  14. I was just kidding there. I had us winning 38-30. I never expected to see something like what we saw today.
  15. That's amazing. Incredibly well done.
  16. I had Oregon winning 36-6. So, not bad. Jk. I had them 38-30.
  17. Our defense was just freakishly amazing out there today. Wow.
  18. Best the Ducks have looked in years against a damn good opponent at a tough place to play.
  19. Charles - You're spot on... if the goal is to punch our ticket and get into the playoffs, then every remaining game is a single elimination game. If, however, we're good with the likes of the Liberty, Sun, Alamo, or the Poulan Weed Eater Bowl... well then, that's a different story. If on Saturday Oregon plays like they are more than capable of doing, they win a tough slugfest by something like 38-30.
  20. Frankly, I'd say the likelihood of Williams bailing out on the season is about 0%. But what I like about this story, and the ones talking about Riley potentially dumping USC for an NFL job, it that it all further underscores the craphole program, and disarray, known as USC football. They are also getting eaten alive by much of the So Cal media. All on the eve of their 'triumphant' move to the B1G. Admittedly, perhaps I am taking to much pleasure from this. But, IMHO, it couldn't be happening to a more deserving, and arrogant, program.
  21. Not sure if this has already been covered, but there actually is talk going on that now that USC's season is officially in the el-crapper, should Williams just call it a season and sit out the rest of the year. The thing I absolutely love about this discussion, regardless of the outcome, is how it completely encapsulates and underscores how the wheels have totally blown off the USC season --- right in time for them to enter the B1G. How sweet it is. MSN WWW.MSN.COM
  22. Plus, we're finally coming into the best weather in the nation down here. Can't wait for the ASU game in Tempe in a few weeks.
