Disappointed in National Coverage of Oregon vs. Ohio State
Homer national journalists should have no place. Too much misinformation. And Oregon was more harmed by bad luck and refs. Missed more execution (botched kick holds, missed open WR for TD, etc). This was a 10 point Oregon expected win rate. Oregon had higher ceiling. Just needs to quit hurting itself. On the refs: that was clearly tOSU offensive PI push off to gain an advantage of space, textbook call. But they missed the opening drive interception for 7 point swing and wrongly calling ineligible UO receiver/formation cover up on a good gain. Lanning said UO submitted that play to league and was informed refs indeed got it wrong. Report that.

So Many Doubters...Lanning Wins a B1G One!
Ok, needed all night to celebrate and let the blood pressure calm down. My takes: 1. Lanning does win big games. 2. Lanning and staff out coached Day and Chip. 3. Speaking of which, UO still undefeated vs Chip. 5-0. Keep him coming. 4. Coaching can still improve: don’t save a first half time out on that first drive non-called interception by not challenging it or taking timeout to look longer/give replay official more time to evaluate. Big miss = 7 points. 5. UO killed it on national stage. A+ on College GameDay, Autzen crowd noise (which was worth at least 3 points). Huge marketing boost which the win only amplifies for years to come with recruits. 6. UO has the talent to beat anyone. Even missing Burch for 4 quarters and Holden for 3. DG is elite. 7. TEs can do better. So can short yardage must-make play calling and execution. Not elite. 8. We beat Ohio St AGAIN! 9. Fine line between cocky and arrogant. See Holden. Did hear he was beyond distraught with his own behavior so much they had to have his dad come down from the stands to locker room. Big team lesson. 10. Remember when we were worried about the OLine?! Lol

Pac-12 Is Drunk Dialing for Members?
The new teams in SUC/SLACK 12 got only 1 win yesterday. And it was Boise crushing WAZZU.

Oregon Ducks Football: UCLA Takeaways
Not talking about blocking improvement needed on the OLine is the best part. Could have gotten A grade if they clean up the procedure penalties in red zone. Receiving talent can step up more, too many dropped passes (including TEs here mainly Herbert). Besides James, need another RB to be productive. Noah and Lamar seem pedestrian. Home run threats? Play calling: still feels Stein is holding back, hopefully intentionally for later like Chip used to do. DEF: studs. Reed got picked on, need to see how team adjusts or if injury recovery from others helps soon I keep asking this: WHAT is going on with Jurrion Dickey? We had been told he’d be good to play in September from the spring game leg injury. We also heard he was crushing it in camp. He is crickets now.

More truth, yet comedy gold.

Pac-12 Is Drunk Dialing for Members?
Oh the irony. UNLV and Air Force rejected Pac2 to stay in MWC via the MWC giving them stolen PAC $ they got from Beavis and Coug. PAC leadership is being outplayed, again.

Elite Recruiting Mountain Too High for Ducks’ Lanning?
Fair article, I’d likely put Texas there too given current situation. But proof is in the pudding on remarks about location being off base. 1. UO’s reach and influence is broad, does not need nor has relied on Oregon high schoolers. 2. UO owns California so much that USC talks more about UO recruiting than they do about USC. 3. High schoolers coast to coast have Oregon hat on the table. “Dream school” “The place to be” 4. Best marketing in the business, will always be present.

Report (9:00 PM, Wed): UNLV and Air Force Staying in Mt. West
UNLV rejected Pig2 and signs to stay in Mountain West. On staying, "The league is a genuine brand and an established product," UNLV athletic director Erick Harper said. "Increased revenues are a vital factor. As we look ahead and continue our ascent as an athletics department, this also gives us necessary flexibility as we pursue our future goal of joining an autonomous [Power Four] conference." Wow. 1. Sees MWC as “a genuine brand and established product” over Pig2. 2. Sees better revenue in MWC vs Pig2. 3. Sees MWC as better stepping stone to get to Power 4 status than Pig2. OUCH Mountain West Conference gets commitments from 7 remaining members - ESPN WWW.ESPN.COM The Mountain West has received signed commitments from Air Force, UNLV, New Mexico, Nevada, San Jose State, Wyoming and Hawai'i to stay in the conference.

This is Serious: We Need an Updated Name for the Pac-12...Can You Help?
SUC by PittDuck is fantastic. Probably is my vote. I also like BrokePACMountain.

Is Boise State Going to Destroy the Pac-12?
I just…can’t stop laughing. Now Utah St?! As if Fresno and CSU weren’t already so junior varsity to water this down. That’s all the stolen money was used for?! And wait, what? The PAC tried to get teams from Florida, Tennessee, and Louisiana with the PAC fans encouraging that. Didn’t we just hear those same fans and admins saying they would never try to impose the impossible long distance travel like the big boys are doing? That smell is a stinking pile of hypocrisy.. Oh what? USF, Memphis, and Tulane rejected the offer to cozy up with Beavis and Coug? Rejected it! Too funny. This is comedy gold.

The Pac is Back!
I concur with what was said. That adding more G5 mish mash does not make it a P5. 4-6 pigs joining 2 pigs on the farm is still a pig pile not Yellowstone Ranch.

Oregon Ducks Football: 2024 Identity Found?
I was pretty sure I saw 77 (Bedford) in game during second half. Participation stats link shows he has now played in one game: SIDEARM Integrations GODUCKS.COM The official 2024 Football cumulative statistics for the University of Oregon Ducks

Pretty sure I saw him playing.

Oregon Ducks Football: 2024 Identity Found?
Jordan James is a beast, love him carrying the rock. Was pleased to see Noah show burst in Beav game, seemed lacking the first 2. Lamar also flashed well. Question: what is the scoop with Dickey? Heard he was tearing up camp, but several others getting late game reps before him. Slower recovery from the leg injury?

New AP Poll - Ducks Stay at No. 9 - Kind of A Crime!
This occurrence might mean Lanning needs to run up scores by not kneeling at end of games, which he does a lot in scoring territory. Guys like Urban Meyer and Bobby Bowden never cared about feelings by scoring late in clear winning positions. It’s possible this ranking perception could keep Oregon out if is a 2 loss team.

Is Oregon State vs. Oregon Football Series Due for A Pause Following 2025 Season?
Now that the Beavs are G5, stop the road game. Those thieves and hypocrites who killed the MWC do not deserve it. And nothing to gain by UO playing in Corvallis anymore.

So...How About THAT Get-Well Game?
Would like to see D get turnovers. Several dropped picks this year and need to force fumbles. Only Beavis one this week was from a bad snap which they recovered. Glad run D stepped up in 2nd half.
-
So...How About THAT Get-Well Game?
Offense: A. Scored on every drive except intentional kneel downs at end of each half. Blocking was solid, and still to get more playing time from the 2 hurt guys in upcoming games. Should be even better. Still want to see a little more on first down rushes. Despite it being mop up time: Dante > Ty by a mile. Difference in confidence is apparent. Defense: Tail of 2 halves. B overall. Suddenly sloppy tackling in first half, combined with bad luck on poor roughing passer call. But pitching shut out in second half showed coaches and players made great adjustments. DL now removed the monkeys off the back that were Boise history And last Corvallis game. A few more to go…

Words Alone Cannot Describe the Utter Ridiculousness of this Face Book Post
What is laughable is Pac2 used the $ they stole from Pac12 to buy….wait for it….Fresno St., Colorado St, Boise St., and SDSU?! And to remain solidly in G5?! I think I just peed myself.

Post Boise State Game Discussion!
Broad team focus, penalties, Offensive Play calling per situation, and OLine: D+ Defense: B (everyone in the building knew who was going to get the ball) Getting the Boise monkey off of the back and being 2-0: A

With a Lefty QB, It’s Time to Flip the Offensive Line
Word is out there about this being the toughest camp ever. Perhaps another reason (not the only one) for the poor play. Perhaps the OL were tired ,sore, beat up from that. They certainly looked lethargic. We heard similar after the 2021 Stony Brook game which was 17-7 at half and despite 40 rushes, Oregon had only 2 hit over 9 yards all game (17 & 24 yds). Opposing coach even bragged afterwards about how his team pushed Oregon around. Mom of OL player said her son was so sore from practices without time to recover yet. Side note: UO had only 2 passing TDs and were from Ty Thompson in later mop up duty for Anthony Brown.

Plenty to Quack About in Oregon’s 24-14 Win Over Vandals
1. Week one. Intentional vanilla playcalling. 2. Oline was pathetic, regardless.
