  1. Can I be banned for telling you your header banner Bruin blue clashes with duck green? Pea green is not in the duck color wheel.
  2. However They do lead in all time prowess.
  3. I normally refuse to belong to any group that would have me as a member, this one is the exception.
  4. Just a kid born and growing up in the blue collar town across the river. I fished the stretch of river from day island to ferry street. I remember the landfill that was the river bank. My favorite book was Huck Fin. in 1959 my mother worked at Del Hoffs ice cream Parlor for several years. Del Hoffs was a popular hang out for the basketball team. We went to a basketballs game. I do not remember who the ducks played, it did not matter, I was hooked. If truth were told I waited until half time or snuck into more games in my youth than I have paid for as an adult.
  5. Willie Lyles SHDH. Just 15 years ahead of his time.
  6. The 3 years as a freshman creates the classic pig in a python. 6- year seniors?
  7. Russ Francis- one of those freaks of nature that every sport he played he excelled in. Does he still hold the state high school javelin record? My cousin played PG on the varsity basketball team with him. Saw a few games.
  8. Can always use yellow iron road graders, And bull dozers. Keep this up we may have a ton of fun along the line.
  9. The NCAA created this when they granted an additional freshman year. The 6 additional spots is a joke of a compensation. I understand the reasoning, but I wonder of the ripple effect to high school players and if it is limiting their opportunity, my gut feel is it did and does.
  10. Dotted along the rim of the grand canyon are remnants of uranium mines. The NRC regulates the closure, under the uranium mine and tailings reclamation act (UMTRA). My point is one of his films was shot in the Utah staircase area. Also known now, but unknown at the time to have very high background levels of uranium. The company had finished with the outdoor shooting and the director John Ford decided to load 90 rail cars of soils and rock to use on the movie set in Hollywood. Uranium from a external Gamma dose is not that high. However the primary radiation hazard is the alpha radiation through ingestion of dust, etc.. within 20 years of that movie -all who worked on it died of some form of cancer.
  11. I strongly object to that hideous header color at the top of the front page.
  12. Can we just anoint them as off-season pac12 champions now? My bold prediction is that the ducks and Utah square off again in the championship game, only with a different outcome.
  13. With guys that size you naturally are in a spread formation.
  14. The ducks averaged ~72 offensive (some more than others) plays a game for 2021.
  15. Regarding Oregon: “Ever since Coach Lanning went down there, they were not even my Top 12 but I have that type of relationship with Coach Lanning. Him being a down-to-earth cool guy, I think he’ll change the program and it’s somewhere I’d like to be.”
  16. Personally I was willing to give the new coaching staff a mulligan this recruiting cycle. But dang if coach didn’t carry the trees, traps, and the water hazard, setting up nicely for a tap in.
  17. In the past a coach with holes to fill may have leaned heavily on a the Junior college route. The junior college players were yesterday’s “portal”, I wonder the impact to the JC players regarding D-1 offers over the last few years.
  18. I would love to see Noah pound the rock. Kenyon Barner came to Oregon as a defensive back. My hope is the new staff Re-evaluates the current roster-who knows we may have the answer already on the team.
  19. If you have not watched the documentary Fastball you should. As a sports fan I highly recommend it.
