  1. Could be USC takes the pre season pac crown this year. Let’s see how they do the closer to the actual games being played. My early money is on the Utes. all in fun.
  2. From the photo It appears he filled his sleeves nicely.
  3. With all the portal, opt outs etc, the other way to look at these types of bowl games is as this winters version of next years spring game. I’m old enough to rememberers buying into the independents bowl and excited to be there, and as it turned out, so was Tulsa!
  4. Prior to the game Oregon released their depth chart. Minus special teams, 23 freshmen, 5 redshirt freshmen, 7 sophomores, 4 juniors, 2 seniors, and a partridge in a Pear tree.
  5. Just to put another log on the 2021 duck season fire, I put the 2020 duck rose bowl team. No less than 12 ducks from that team, suited up and played in the NFL last week. let that marinate awhile.
  6. Yep, a shame we never got to see “whole” Nate run the spread, his style of play reminded me a little of Reggie Ogburn- name dropping for us real ol’ coots! Plenty of talk about “roots” of Oregon’s football program. Another way to look at this “new day” is lots of Oregon’s football program seeds are being cast about. Who knows the future harvest?
  7. The one thing the Ducks and the toejams have in common this year is both were curb stomped by the Utes. OBDs- twice.
  8. Nate picked up a badly hiked ball, spun it to laces out, kick good! Ducks regular season 12-0.
  9. Not welcoming Bo would be like walking by a $20 on the sidewalk and not stoping to pick it up because it would upset the other bills in your wallet.
  10. The difference between a groove and a rut is depth. This duck offense is deep in a rut. Something is needed to nudge it into a new groove.
  11. And all kicks are onside...... your playing craps folks, high risk, high reward.
  12. Having been in business for many years, my spidey senses tell me: *oregon made the offer knowing he would decline-twice. These things are not done in a vacuum. The ducks can tell the “back to our roots” section- we tried- twice, and Wilcox gets to solidify his commitment to his current and future teams. Count me as really liking the hire, to take from good to great- He will be a great bus driver, now let’s see who else gets on his bus. of course I could be completely full of crap as my wife of 45 years reminds me daily.
  13. As a guy that remembers the landfill, as long as these kids stay off my lawn, I’m good with it
  14. In honor of my father who was riding that tin can with his gunnery crew and dozer..... Go Army
  15. If exploring possible NFL up and comers, why not Kellen (putting aside the true freshman butt kicking he dished out to the ducks at home)?
  16. Opportunity. As a fellow feather head I am really looking forward to this huge opportunity.
