Dillingham to ASU Picking Up Steam
If Dillingham bides his time a little bit, there will be better offers than this coming along. It might be at a lower level than the PAC at first, but with a great chance for success. Then, if he makes the best of that chance, he's in the running for some big time jobs.

Dan Lanning Weekly Press Conference: Addresses Auburn Rumor
Let's just put it this way. I've been to Oregon (visited Eugene), I've been to NE Alabama. I know the SEC plays some good football, but even with that, why would anyone in their right mind choose to live in Alabama over Oregon. Seems like Lanning not only loves coaching at the University of Oregon, he loves living in Eugene and thinks it's a great place to put down roots with his family. I don't think he will leave unless he's not doing well and Oregon wants him to or until all of his kids have graduated from high school.

Latest Coaches Poll Prove Oregon Benefitted
Absolutely, none of this CFP talk matters if we don't win out. That starts with Saturday. But the possibilities are getting really interesting now. Which makes the stakes a little higher with each game.

Canzano: Oregon coach Dan Lanning not Interested in Auburn Opening
Yeah, that's what I thought when I saw the head line, "Making the Case for Dan Lanning and Auburn. There were then articles "making the case for Lane Kiffin..." and several others who are not going to Auburn. Dan Lanning is smart, that is the main reason he's not going to Auburn.

Game Day Thread of Other Games (Not Oregon) Nov 5 2022
Some of the things that need to happen for the OBD to be in playoff contention are looking pretty good right now. Georgia beat Tennessee, Notre Dame is beating Clemson, LSU leads Bama and is giving them fits with their defense. TCU won, but really didn't look very good doing it. Ohio State was not impressive against a 1 win Northwestern either. Oh, the wind was blowing they say. The wind was blowing in Boulder too. Michigan was trailing Rutgers too, but is leading now.

Do we get the ball to start the second half? Missed the start of the game.

GameDay Thread versus Colorado: Join Us!
Yeah, been watching some of that, GA's defense has been stopping Tenn. so far, offense not dominating, but efficient and moving the ball.

THE TOP 25 CFP RANKINGS HAVE ARRIVED‼️
To have a chance Oregon has to win out and be impressive in doing so. Tennessee - Georgia will mean one of them becomes a one loss team, Michigan - Ohio St. will mean one of them is a one loss team. Alabama still has at LSU, at Ol Miss and Auburn. I wouldn't be greatly surprised to see them come out of that with an L, but also wouldn't count on it. TCU has won several games by a shoe string. Could take a L. Best thing for Oregon, Georgia butt stomps Tennessee, the OSU team up north game is not close (go Buckeyes), Alabama loses again and Georgia beats a one loss team in the SEC championship, TCU loses twice and of course Oregon wins out including an impressive win in the PAC championship. Then there is a chance.

Seven McGee Entering Transfer Portal
This! I wish only the best for this young man. He was signed under another coach, came anyway, it hasn't worked out for him and he's moving on. Best of luck Seven!

Oregon’s Best Offense Ever; Plus Kickoff Idiocy and Burying Georgia
Thanks for the great work on these stats. I knew this offense was good but didn't realize how good. There are so many weapons this offense has as threats for big plays and the coaching staff is ready to use them all. What do you stop, interior running, edge running, running backs, QB runs, the edge with wide receivers or tight ends, wide receivers, tight ends and backs going deep... We are so loaded with play makers and the players are now encouraged to make plays. I would hate to be a DC and try to figure out a game plan to stop this offense.

The Oregon Brand is BACK and is No Longer Chip Kelly’s Legacy
Great article Fish! As I've been watching football around the country, one thing is for certain right now. No team in college football is more fun to watch than the Oregon Ducks! That's what made so many of us who had no real connection with the program fans a while ago (before Chip actually for me). Oregon football is fun to watch again! Woohoo, let's go Ducks!

The Oregon Brand is BACK and is No Longer Chip Kelly’s Legacy
I'm not FishDuck and don't claim his knowledge, but there is a difference between Bo running to gain yards and score touchdowns at Oregon and Bo running for his life at Auburn. That said, Bo looked like a great young QB his first year with Dillingham as the OC. They seemed to work well together then and now they are back together. My hope is that this works because Dilly uses the talents of players he has to their max. Put Bo in a drop back passer offense and he would be stifled. Next year if Bo is not around, maybe we see the offense working a little differently with a new guy. This O is definitely tailored to Bo's strengths.

SECer Thinks the Ducks Have "IT" Times 3
I'm not sure I want Oregon to be "AN" SEC program. Outside of Alabama and Georgia right now (let's see what happens with surprising Tennessee), who competes for a NC year after year? I would like to see Oregon consistently comparable to "TOP" SEC programs. That's the standard.

Worried About Oregon PEAKING Too Early?
I'm really not concerned about peaking too soon this year, at least not yet (and we're well into the second half of the season). There is still a lot of room to improve. The slow starts in some games, the pass D/coverage, we could have scored three more touch downs (or at least field goals, hitting my prediction of 51 points) but didn't finish in the red zone. Get better every day, then making each game better than the last. Hopefully by the bowl game, maybe even the playoffs we are peaking. With continued improvement this can certainly be one of the top four teams in the country when all the dust settles, even if they do not make the playoffs.

Great response after the turn over, good defensive possession, then move with confidence on offense for the TD.

FishDuck Analysts Offer Insights for Cal Game
Thanks, this is really helpful. I admit I now little about Cal this years other than the heavy Duck influence on the coaching staff. And they always play us tough in Berkley. I'm hoping our D comes through with some big plays, a few turnovers, sacks and negative yardage plays. Get the ball to our offense a few extra times and we win big.

WATCH: If Georgia and Oregon Met Again, What Would the Score Be?
I think this is an interesting discussion, but it's a long shot for happening. Here's the thing with the first game. Oregon was playing last years Georgia (that would pound the ball inside to set up everything else) team and frankly got out coached. This years Georgia team beat Oregon on the edge not by pounding the ball inside. Oregon had trouble tackling Georgia's big strong receivers on the edge which led to big plays. I think after a season of watching this years Georgia team and how some others have kept them a little better corralled if not totally stopped, the Ducks have a better game plan next time. That said, Georgia scores 35 on the Ducks this time. Question is can the Ducks score 35+ on Georgia? I'm thinking not, but 35-27 Georgia seems realistic.
