Is Bittle going yo get another year of eligibility due to his injuries last year? Apparently I missed the news last week that the NCAA granted Bittle another year of eligibility. Great! He's not showing up anywhere on the NBA draft boards.

The Ducks should never wear grey except in baseball- if they HAVE to! The only thing worse were the navy blue unis they wore to honor the state flag. Nice color scheme...for Cal Berkeley.

I hate to say it, but I think we need to get another transfer surefire QB again. This article said the Ducks are in a fantastic position at QB, but Moore failed big time at UCLA. How is that uplifting? I wasn't even sold on Gabriel even up to his last snap. He's no Bo Nix, and certainly no Herbert. He was too short and too left handed. I'm not even sure Quinn Ewers is someone I would want. Simply not good enough. He'll go the NFL most likely, though.

Game 6 of the year will never be one of the biggest games ever. We are going to do this all the time now. It was supposed to be like this when we played USC but somehow their program fell off the map for a decade or more.

If the logic was that the first week's uniforms were good, then this can only be seen as an improvement, in my opinion. I am strongly opposed to throwback uniforms, or those that even somewhat mimic them. I prefer chrome helmets, and the in the incorporation of chrome or black as much as possible. Forest green works with both of those colors, and neon highlights are great as well. The neon socks in the Auburn National Championship game were fantastic. It's more than possible that the UO brass tries to dumb things down for games that are not very big so that it doesn't lessen the snazzy ones for primetime.

I have zero sympathy with Xfinity/Comcast. Every other cable provider has moved the Big 10 Network to the basic cable plan. Comcast doesn't need to raise bills by one dollar, they just need to take the hit to keep their customers. Customers that are leaving. I'll tell you what, when Comcast screwed with the Blazers package last year I dropped Comcast as my cable and internet provider instantly. I had been with them since 2004. I paid a lot of $1 bills to them each month and I am just one person. Unless you live in some geographical oddity location, I suggest everyone to switch to YouTube TV (and ideally Hunter Fiber like I have).

I am a bit frustrated that Dillon Gabriel couldn't at least draw some PI flags. I hope they practice that next week. The dude's got to throw darts down the field if we are going to rack up points. He had plenty of time in the pocket on passing plays. Also, is he hurt? Why didn't he run for first downs when available. He's wearing #8, so act the part, ha. I still think we've got a chance to win the Big 10, I just don't think we will deserve to necessarily. That could change if the OL somehow shows up. No idea about DG. He could win me over if he plays like a real QB next week. I don't care what his numbers say. If he's throwing short passes and not a run threat then it's fool's gold. To think that many people thought Bo Nix was too short, couldn't throw a long ball very well, and just dumped the ball. Well...here's what that actually looks like. Gabriel had the stats but he certainly did not pass the eyeball test. If we lose a game where we are favored in by Vegas, then I think we should switch to Dante Moore or Novosad. He's not projected to be an NFL player, isn't that alarming? I don't know how Oklahoma won so many games with him.

I think a lot of Duck fans have not yet quite bought the hype that national pundits have been giving us because they actually watched the Spring Game, and Dillon Gabriel did not stand out as some extraordinary quarterback. So, we have zero evidence that he's gelling with the team. That being said, if you just go by the talent you see on his career tape there should be no cause for concern. Again, it's just quite unfortunate that the team has not showed him doing anything in a scrimmage. As far as expectations go, based on his career and him being one year older and more experienced, I am expecting him to be invited to the Heisman Trophy Ceremony and to lead Oregon the the Playoffs. Anything less than getting us to the Playoffs would absolutely be a failure, in my opinion.

He had some really bad misses on wide open deep balls last year. I wouldn't want him to be my starting QB if he can't throw long dimes. He's a great backup, though.

I just searched for it on my YouTube TV account, and it looks like the next episode for Campus Eats is on Wednesday at 1pm. It just happens to be this episode: "West Coastin'". I'm not paid by YouTube or Google or anything, but if you have YouTube TV you can just click on the + symbol next to the show name, and it will record all future episodes. YouTube TV has unlimited DVR. If you watch a Ducks event there will be an alert on your tv or computer that says "would you like to record ALL events involving the Oregon Ducks?" Or something like that. It might just ask to record all the games from the same sport. Either way- good stuff!

I did laugh a bit when our high school QB commit said "he looks forward to spending 4 years with Coach Will Stein" Uh, well, he's probably going to be gone in one to three years from now.

The ACC isn't going to settle on buyouts. If FSU wants out then they have to pay $572M. ESPN is going to keep FSU and Clemson, because they can't force the SEC to take them. ESPN isn't going to let FSU go to the Big 10 if they can hold them hostage.

I'm getting pretty tired of Jurrion Dickey not getting plays called that are supposed to go his way. That deep interception toss threw him under the bus, and to top it off he got injured again. Hopefully he and Stewart will get a bunch of looks in the early season. Tez is a niche player, but we need stars to pan out.
