Michigan's JJ McCarthy and Blake Corum Off to NFL, Can Harbaugh be Far Behind?
Has there ever been a worse QB to win the college national championship than McCarthy?

A Few B1G Buckeye Thoughts
Hopefully Oregon’s staff isn’t spending too much time on Blair’s recruitment. 1) The chances of Harbough being in Michigan in 2 years seem slim. 2) What percentage of LDS kids, who go on their mission, enroll in the school they committed to out of high school (excluding BYU)? 3) Also, what will Oregon’s WR room look like in 2 years (we already have two 4-star commits in the 2025 class)?

Husky Hits and Snorts Don't End...
Those are morbid comparisons, even for a Husky fan. Thousands of innocent people lost their lives on 9/11, many honorable men and women in our military lost their lives during Pearl Harbor and the nation lost its leader in JFK. This is only sport...

Husky Hits and Snorts Don't End...
At least Taggard and Cristobal left the cupboard full (with their top 5 recruiting classes). Whomever takes over at Washington is looking at a complete rebuild. It couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch...

Cam Ward Decides On Miami
I’m not surprised that Cam Ward pulled his name from the NFL draft but thought that he might end up at Bama with DeBoer.

QUAAACK!!! Caldwell is a Duck!
Oregon State's field goal kicker (Atticus Sappington) transferred to Oregon. He was 13-14 last year with a long of 48 yards.

IT'S OFFICIAL...HE GONE!
"Following DeBoer agreeing to coach Alabama in early afternoon, the UW called a players' meeting. One father posted that roughly only 25 percent of the team attended it." MSN WWW.MSN.COM

ENJOY the DeBoer Saga!
UW fans were laughing at Oregon fans a couple of days ago, when Lanning was supposedly the leading candidate. Irony?!!!

QUAAACK!!! Evan Stewart Commits to Oregon
I agree. That said, last season, Evan Stewart made contested catches downfield that not many college wide receivers are capable of. Someone said that he makes 50/50 balls 75/25. His potential is off the charts. Hopefully, Oregon can get the most out of him.

QUAAACK!!! Evan Stewart Commits to Oregon
Evan Stewart appears to be a great replacement for Troy Franklin. Dillon Gabriel is going to love having him as a weapon. Stewart is a true deep threat and makes tough, contested catches all over the field. Looks like a terrific pickup for the Oregon Ducks. I'm shocked that he didn't have more production at Texas A&M this past year but I don't know much about the Aggie's offense or QB.

The Real Question for Me...
He’ll take the Ohio State job when Day is fired because losing to Michigan is a prerequisite in Columbus and he has that one down…

Anyone else think that Penix's draft stock decreased after this game?

If Michigan is going to go for it on 4th and 3, why throw the ball when you are gashing the UW defense with the run?

T-Ferg Status!
Terrance Ferguson is the best tight end that Oregon has had in years, IMO, since we regularly produced NFL ready TEs. BIG retention for Dillon Gabriel! Our coaches and Division Street have been busy!

Burch is Back for 2024
Hopefully Birch has a monster senior season and can improve his draft stock to the first round. He certainly has the physical attributes you'd look for in the NFL, scouts just need to see the productivity and consistency.

Report: College Football Playoff Managers Expected to Adopt 5+7 Format After Pac-12 Dissolution
Agreed. In the Beavers' case, it could also be wanting to play against top competition and exposure, especially if the player has NFL aspirations. I'm just saying that every player has different motivations/desires and it's not always about the NIL $$$.

Noah Whittington Reveals Plans for 2024 Season with Oregon
Oregon should use Noah, like the Niners use Christian McCaffrey. Give him some designed runs up the middle and pitches to the outside but shift him all over the field to create match up issues for the defense. We should also consider using him as the kickoff and punt returner as that could increase his draft stock.

Report: College Football Playoff Managers Expected to Adopt 5+7 Format After Pac-12 Dissolution
Some kids may also value playing time or other factors (e.g., a fresh start, new coaches, being closer to home) over NIL $$$…

Is Bo Nix Oregon’s Best Football Player Ever?
I love Bo Nix but he didn’t win a conference championship and was 0-3 vs. the hated Huskies. Therefore, there are a handful of modern Oregon QBs that I’d take over Bo.

I Am Rooting for the Huskies
This is one of the few times that I wish there was a thumbs down on FishDuck. Huck the Fuskies! 👏 👏 👏👏👏

What If....Bo Had Not Played?
I’m grateful that Bo decided to play, but without him I think that Oregon would have pounded the rock and still won the game comfortably. Liberty did not deserve to play in a New Year’s bowl game (not a single victory against a top 25 team) and were at a severe disadvantage at the line of scrimmage and outside of the first drive did not score on Oregon’s defense.

Bill Oram: What is Liberty Doing in the Fiesta Bowl?
Liberty had no business in the Fiesta Bowl or a New Year's Day Bowl. They had a nice season but not a single victory over a top 25 team this season. They did not earn it.
