Occam's razor tells us that Oregon was just better than Ohio State. Todd Blackledge considers how good Ohio State’s defensive line is this season WWW.ON3.COM . OregonDucks No. 2 Share Posted October 24 The author doesn't give enough credit to Oregon's offensive line, IMO, who is playing great right now and not giving up sacks to anyone. The strength of Oregon's offensive line is the tackles so it's not surprising that Ohio State's ends didn't have much success in the game. Guess what...Oregon has future NFL players too! You are not playing Maryland, Rutgers, Northwestern, et al. I do think that Ohio State was arrogant. They thought that their CBs could cover Oregon's WRs and that the front 4 could get pressure on DG without blitzing. I'm guessing that if the two teams play again that Ohio State would have a completely different game plan. 1
HappyToBeADuck No. 3 Share Posted October 24 OR? They could have asked Maybe the Oregon O Line, with future NFL talent is that good? Or the Duck O Line played a clean, outstanding 60 minutes? Or tOSU just wasnt prepared? Afterall they plsyed 5 cream puffs before the Duck game. No kudos or respect for how well the Duck O Line played. 1
PittDuck No. 4 Share Posted October 24 Of course tosu isn’t any good, they lost to Oregon for klatt’s sake… it will take OBD beating the pants off tosu again, on their way to winning the Natty before these clowns give our Mighty Ducks any respect. 1

Puddles, You Made the List! 3 teams the Ohio State football team would love to see kicked out of the Big Ten SCARLETANDGAME.COM The Ohio State football program is one of the most successful programs in the Big Ten. Mike West No. 8 Share Posted October 25 Ohio State is a very good football team. People are saying they played poorly and still nearly pulled out the W. The pundits don't want Oregon to be the feature team in the B1G. It's obvious. I will say this: I talked to FishDuck before the game. My observation was OBD was more physical against MSU ( I might have already mentioned this). MSU agreed. On both Lines of Scrimmage. Now, there are things I'd like to see cleaned up on defense. I've stated them several times, so I won't repeat them. But OBD can really slow down that powerful offense if they do those three simple things. Will they? I Doubt it. I still to believe the next one will still be a toss up though. OBD are that good.
30Duck Author Moderator No. 9 Share Posted October 25 I really don't want Ohio State to leave the B1G on OBD's account, but if they're already this upset maybe it would be for the best. 1
David Marsh No. 10 Share Posted October 25 We'll see how good OSU is going down the stretch this year. One of the best things about Oregon's win was that it was followed by an Ohio State bye week. We've been living rent free in their heads for an extra week. Ohio State gets to prove how good they are this week. And next week and so on and so forth. They also had the Brown/Shough thing going on at QB. OSU would’ve throttled OBD by at least 4 TD’s. Especially, with no fans allowed. The Iowa State Fiesta Bowl was bad enough. 1
