Had to look up highest elevation in Indiana…1257 ft. For trivia sake…Autzen sits at 415ft. Indiana coach…”Did anyone bring oxygen tanks?”
October 27, 2024Oct 27 Moderator The broadcast booth at Autzen is just a little over 1 1/2 football fields above the ocean. That would be about two football fields lower than Champaign Illinois.

That's what I was kind of thinking... maybe they saw the snow-capped Cascades in the distance and they felt like they were at 10,000 ft, and their bodies followed. I'm seriously hoping that this guy was trying to be funny.

To not spark a conversation that gets to far off topic, let's just say Eugene's official elevation is somewhere between 419 and 421 feet.

Lol... there just so many of those dog-gone hills and buttes in Eugene (I remember some great winter sledding on some of them... that was about back when dino's still roamed the earth), etc. I'm betting that if we averaged the number of Eugene square miles, with the various elevations, your 420 ft average would be spot on... Not to get too far off topic 😄 Edited October 27, 2024Oct 27 by Desert Duck

Is Nick Saban the greatest coach ever, who started at Toledo, then went to a B1G school, Michigan State, then coached at LSU an SEC school, then in the NFL, with the Miami Dolphins, then at another SEC school, Alabama?
