Posted November 2, 2024Nov 2 Administrator Here we are my Duck-Buddies, the thread for pondering the actual game as it happens. Let's discuss before, and during the game! The vast majority of you are GREAT in this thread, but you must remember that this forum is different, as we require civilized discourse. Discussion of negative is fine, but don't vent on us! Rule No. 31d covers GameDay Thread Conduct, and it is not hard for the vast majority of us--just a tiny few who need to reign it in when things don't go well for Our Beloved Ducks. Let's Have Fun Posting During the Game! Mr. FishDuck
November 2, 2024Nov 2 Moderator Strong start for the defense! The is one of the biggest stages in the B10. I don't want OBD to just beat Michgan, I want them to completely demoralize the Wolverines. That'll wake up all the B10 pundits who keep underestimating Oregon.

November 2, 2024Nov 2 Moderator I hope Tez is ok, he just went back to the locker room. Stewart, Lowe, and Siddiq will need to pick up the slack.
November 2, 2024Nov 2 Moderator Fantastic pass by Dillon and fantastic catch by Stewart in the tiniest window I've seen in a while!

November 2, 2024Nov 2 Moderator Wow, horrendous special teams play. Pellum didn't protect the ball at all.
November 2, 2024Nov 2 Special teams turnover allows Michigan to hang around and tie the game, after our defense forced two 3 and outs. Edited November 2, 2024Nov 2 by OregonDucks
November 2, 2024Nov 2 I hope we don t see him catching a punt again this yr.... Totally destroys momentum and likely two td lead.
November 2, 2024Nov 2 Moderator Wake up call. If Tez is out, fair catch the dang ball. Feel bad for Pellum but you can't give Michigan a reason to believe.
November 2, 2024Nov 2 Agree on the coaching blunder. At this point, I basically yell "fair catch" at the screen on every punt, no matter who we have in there. Especially if you're better than the other team, on the road, just take possession safely. Don't introduce any unpredictable X factors into things. But when we don't have the normal punt returner in? How do you not tell that person to just fair catch it? Really dumb. Just helps increase the odds of what Michigan needs--to hang around and keep the score close and not let Oregon jump out to the leads we have been in recent games.

You can always make up for a mistake. Its how you react that matters. Champions don't sulk. They get back up and make plays.
November 2, 2024Nov 2 Oregon's offense can close their eyes and pick a play at this point. Michigan isn't able to stop them.

November 2, 2024Nov 2 Gary Danielson has now brought up the Oregon dropped TD four times now. I will bet we will hear more of this.

November 2, 2024Nov 2 So, win by more than 2 tds, and it makes no difference. If one play like that demoralized MeatChicken, that's on them. Edited November 2, 2024Nov 2 by woundedknees
November 2, 2024Nov 2 Moderator Defense is essentially shutting Michigan down. Offense just needs to continue picking them apart and put it away by half time.
November 2, 2024Nov 2 Oregon is letting Michigan hang around... Edited November 2, 2024Nov 2 by OregonDucks
November 2, 2024Nov 2 Almost think it might be ribs for Tez... no sling. Dang... good punt. Edited November 2, 2024Nov 2 by woundedknees
November 2, 2024Nov 2 I hate it when we miss a play or part of a play because they are playing a replay.
