If you ever, "Just throw the records out" of a game, it's this Michigan @ Ohio State game. Does Big Blue have a chance?

Vandy returns the opening kick for TD and already leads Tennessee 14-0 still in the 1st quarter.

Michigan gets a PI instead of an osu2 TD. The 15 yard penalty makes that a smart decision. osu2 settles for field goal.

Michigan run game working against tOSU and on D stuffing their RBs. No answer to the Bucknut WRs, but if UM can draw this game out they have a shot.

 

End of 1st qtr, Ohio St 3-0

Michigan goes for it, 4th & 1 on the 3. osu2 stuffs it. 

Almost a pick-6 for Michigan, they get to the 2, next play, to the 1. TD, Michigan!  7-3.

LOL. Can’t wait to see the osu2 fan reactions, if they lose to Michigan, again, and miss the B1G championship game.  

Damn. Michigan came to play. Massive hit on the QB who's still down.

Howard laid out with as hard a hit as I've seen in college football in a long time. 

Howard took a huge hit to his left shoulder and neck and is still on the ground into the commercial break. Getting really chippy.

Running your QB like a full back is not the best idea as Oregon well knows.

Michigan D-line largely keeping Bucknut revamped O-line in check.

 

Howard back in and looks pretty unfazed.

Bucknut stymied again in the red zone by running into the strength of the Michigan D and then a poorly thrown pass by Howard 

 

Insult to injury, they miss the FG.

I hope someone on the Duck staff is side-eying 'The Game' and seeing what a determined unranked opponent can do in a rivalry game in hostile territory. 

I don't know if anyone else feels this, but Ohio State looks disjointed to me.  They looked that way against Indiana to me as well.

 

Something is off on offense for them.  I can't figure it out, but it doesn't seem like they can put teams away.  They don't have a knockout punch, and their "jabs" don't seem to wear defenses out.

 

Chip Kelly likes to run the ball too much.

 

And just like that, he is forced to pass and they score.

I keep thinking they need to throw the ball more but then Howard gives it away. Not sure what the answer is but I hope they don't figure it out.

I think Mari no o is calling plays for both OSU and Michigan

Joel Klatt just says “how about these defenses partner showing up for the third quarter” about the Ohio State Michigan game.

 

Way to spin it,Joel. How about just saying these offenses look pathetic.

Michigan qb Warren with 62 yds passing and 2 picks, missing their only legit receiver and they are 2 minutes from an upset of tOSU.

 

I wonder if the line for the B1G CG starts to shift regardless of the outcome

You don't get used to Gus, you just grit your teeth and get through the game. 

tOSU just got called for 12 on the field, and not in a good Lanning kind of way.

The boosters have probably seen enough.  Can't beat a mediocre Michigan AT HOME and couldn't be the new kid on the block in Oregon.
