17 hours ago17 hr No. Interesting take. The weather conditions may have affected the play, but I didn't think the energy was sucked out of Autzen Stadium, due to unis, weather, or otherwise. People were loud and enthusiastic. Edited 17 hours ago17 hr by Annie
16 hours ago16 hr No. I've always believed that the uniform combos should be earned not given. Keep the three year uniform rotation, but start with the base home and away kits in the early season. As the wins come, so do the combos. I feel like this would still sell extremely well with the recruits; as well as have the backing of the fans.

Though I will say that I am absolutely tired of the black uniforms and the white and the white and black. I am so ready for some green and yellow. It feels like there has been a general lack of green and yellow this year.
15 hours ago15 hr Moderator No. I've seen fans on social media with some pretty hot takes. Most of them revolve around firing our assistant coaches and questioning why certain players are getting or not getting reps. However, a journalist suggesting that uniform color or style degrades or improves performance on the field is a whole new level of delusion.I would love to see Dan Lanning's reaction to a Dale Bliss question about the content of this article.

We are still in the playoff running. Win out and we're in, it's as simple as that. Also... I would be thrilled with the six seed. It puts us on the opposite side of the bracket from Ohio State and we get a home game at Autzen and a favorable match up in round two. I'd take the six seed over the five seed. I'm not afraid of Ohio State but I don't think we are ready for them at this time and delaying that match up would be best for our post season goals. So much of the anger right now is that Oregon is not winning by enough at times. Sure, we laid an egg against Indiana but its an opportunity to grow. Bama got demolished by Florida State and FSU doesn't look that good anymore so keep that in mind.We are all striving for perfection but perfection will never be attained.
12 hours ago12 hr No. Working as intended. We have a brand that IS now our tradition, no need to try to emulate Iowa imo. I’m actually surprised (but not) this is even still a hot topic for some, it’s been 25 years.

12 hours ago12 hr Moderator No. Radical, outside-the-box uniform choice? I suggest the wolf in sheep’s clothing route at Iowa. Go as Minnesota.
11 hours ago11 hr No. Uniforms were decided last year. They are already planning next year. It's as much marketing as anything else.Any player coming to Oregon knows all about the cool threads. I can't believe for an instant it's a distraction to anyone, except us fans. It's also very clear you can't please everyone all the time. We are 7-1. Ranked in the top 10, with NO, ZERO top wins. Say what you will, but the PSU win has lost some shine. We are fortunate to be ranked so high. We have 4 games left against solid opponents that will determine not only how good we are, but also our season. And whether we deserve our ranking.I think our offense in the last few games is a reflection on our young QB. I'm not dissing Dante, he is, and will become, a great talent. But reading good defenses at full speed is a real learning curve. Calling out changes to blocking schemes, making his progressions, anticipating receivers open, being patient 1 or 2 seconds longer...it's clear he is still growing and learning. I believe his best is yet to come. And we have 4 more regular season games to prove it.We have been spoiled the last 3 years by superior qb experience. Now we grow with Dante.Let's GO DUCKS!Crush the corn eatin' Hawkeyes!
7 hours ago7 hr No. It's not the uniforms. The Ducks can wear whatever they want. The problem for me has been disappointing performance. They can play in their PJs for all I care. As long as they perform, it matters not what they're wearing. When the uniforms become the story you know performance is a problem.

I'm over them as well (once a year at most). The green and yellow is a magical combination, and I always marvel how good the uniforms look when it's those colors. It's the best of both worlds. Not only does the green and yellow get back to the basics, they also look the best.

4 hours ago4 hr No. Remarkable that this deep into a thread about uniforms no one has mentioned that by rule the visiting team wears white jerseys unless there is an agreement between the teams before the season.

The color rush is spectacular and something about it always brought to life the rivalry game. This year... not so much. Also... I had to go back and do a quick head count of how many times we wore black this year (and it's too much)... so here is our color pallet this year to date. v Montana State - Green and yellow v Oklahoma State - All Green @ Northwestern - White and yellow v Oregon State - Black and White (Uncle Phil Unis) @ Penn State - White and black v Indiana - Black with Green @ Rutgers - All white v Wisconsin - Black with tie dye green Right now we have 5 games in a ROW without a school color being the MAIN color in our uniforms. School color has been a highlight color or non-exsistent. I think that is why everyone is feeling kinda done with the black at this point. Too many weeks in a row for sure.
