Here we are my Duck-Buddies, the thread for pondering the actual game as it happens.  Let's discuss before, and during the game!

I have made a major change in how we will moderate our GameDay threads. Bottom line, is that you will be allowed to spew your frustration, to vent, as you wish.

But Note the Parameters:

--This is for GameDay threads only; you have to behave in the regular forum threads as in the past.

--You cannot take shots at those who disagree with you, just like in the forum during the week.

Remember how we discussed this upfront in this thread.

If we can have both our offensive tackles back...we'll be fine. Pickard did fine last game, and could do so again. We survived the last two games without the coveted WRs, as our offense threw to "The Beast," Jamari Johnson, Malik Benson with some McClellan mixed in. That can work today too!

The formula remains the same as every game; Play clean, mistake free football and execute at your highest level.

OBD's have a decided talent advantage, even with the injuries. Now it's time to take care of business like IU did yesterday and tOSU is doing today.

The dropoff I see at WR is the subs seem to have a few more drops. Otherwise talented.

I've been reading this week about all the injuries Washington has too, and there have been some key ones. Unfortunately, reading the injury reports, it looks like they'll have all those players back today - Boston (WR), Hatchett (center), Coleman (RB). I wish we'd had a little good news like that of our own to balance things on the injury front, but our other players have been playing well.

Yikes... could easily be 2 picks on Dante. Hopefully he settles down a little bit. He rarely misses wide open receivers like he did on that last one.

Offense is not executing early. Need to clean it up.

Odd miss on that pass from Moore.

Dante needs to just run on those wide open 3rd and shorts, he would have had it by a mile.

I would like to see him run it when he has that kind of an opportunity. He's really good at avoiding the big hits and taking the slide.

Yeah, I wish we'd not go with these ambitious deep balls when we're back at our 30 unless the guy is truly open. Run the ball and use shorter passes to get up near FG range. Field position and FGs will be important here.

That was a really dumb penalty. Puts the defense in a bad spot right away.

I also wouldn't mind some screen passes. I know a lot of people hate them but we need some chunk yards.

Also that missed pass to Hill should have been better but we could have ran it for 3 yards to keep that drive alive.

Washington isn't letting Oregon get the chunk yardage on the ground we're used to but Oregon is still getting positive yards per carry. So need to keep the Huskies honest.

Getting Moore's legs in on the game in a safe way has been good so far. Another way to open up the ground game.

Won't be sad to see Gary Danielson depart. Every game he shows his bias against Oregon..

Let's hope our D stops them again. Usually after a hard-fought drive like this, the opponent seems to score easily. Hope I am wrong!

We aren’t showing our full run game play arsenal. Where are the outside pitches/runs? Counters?

I do like the options and Dante Moore read them correctly.
