I am rooting for Georgia to win big, as I want to see what the playoff committee then does with Alabama and how they justify them over a number of very good 2 loss teams.

Top SEC defenses just look different to me, especially on the front 7. They are BIG and athletic.

Both these offenses look inept.

I don’t think it’s good defense.

The play-calling is unispired and ineffective.

The punt block has fired up the Dawgs offense. Kirby said special teams might be significant.

Georgia, particularly its defense, is dominating this game, thus far. They are getting a lot of pressure on the Bama QB and he is clearly uncomfortable.

Perhaps not with this pressure. We saw how Oregon’s offense performed against Indiana. Georgia and Ohio State’s defenses are significantly better than Indiana’s, IMO.

My suspicion would be that even if Bama loses, they would still be in, probably at the expense of Miami.

I am not certain the committee is willing to punish Bama for losing the SEC championship. Disclaimer: I have ZERO clue how the committee thinks.

IF Bama loses, I see them dropping below ND and ND moving up. Bama would be the 10 and ND would be the 9.

This puts a buffer between ND and Miami, so the H2H isn't an issue. Miami would be 11 and still out because of the two remaining spots (ACC champ and probably Tulane).

Just my $0.01 (Not even as good as $0.02). 😂😂😂

If Bama can't score they aren't getting in the playoffs. How badly they lose by will effect the committee.

Heck I just saw a shot of the committee in lounge chairs watching this entire game. That seems stupid, like they are going to give each other the worst case of recency bias. I hope that's just for show.

I'm glad we aren't playing today.

People want the bye week in the playoffs so there are less injuries, but what do you call this? The top 4 teams are playing today and we're on a bye.

So even though we play an extra game in the playoffs it'll be the same amount of games the top 4 play, except our playoff game will be home, not a neutral sight, and not with committee prying eyes; and it'll have us hot and ready for the next game against the top 4.

Bama has 17 rushing yards. I know they have injuries, but their rushing offense has been dog balls all season (103rd).

"Coach Deboer, what do you think of your rushing offense?"

"Well Holly, we've really been dog balls all year and I'd like to see that improve"

And maybe Kirby has smartened up against DeBoer's offense which has always been pass heavy.

Bama now has 10 yards rushing for the game. Seven less than halftime. They’ve ran 3 plays on UGA‘s side of the field. They’re slightly better than LSU in the 2012 NC game.

Kirby, maybe sit #15 on the bench for the rest of the game. He’s Bama’s offense with all of his penalties.

They've picked it up a little, but Alabama's new Beavis coach JaMarcus Shephard's receivers had 93 yds after 3 quarters.

Georgia now leads 28-7 with 6:51 left.

Wow how the Tides turned. Bama should be out with this performance with my eye test. Ducks a solid 5th.

It can now be said that Kirby does NOT have a Bama problem.

In a fairness to certain other teams Bama needs to be tossed from the playoffs.

All of the talking heads are saying the right things, that Alabama should be out, but I think they all know that it's gonna be hard to push Alabama out.

If they chose NOT to play the SEC Championship game, they would have been in.

I still think Bama goes to 10, ND up to 9. If Virginia wins the ACC, they will be 11, and Tulane (probably) will be 12. That leaves Miami out. Cristobal probably has called a timeout to have someone review.

I would take Bama at Autzen. Then Tech.

Just can't see that happening. Group of 6 is guaranteed a spot and that will be the #12. Unless tOSU or Indiana loses badly, Oregon will stay at #5. If Bama stays in, it will be the #10 or #11.

I would not want Bama at Autzen. Give me one of the group of 5 schools to “ease” into the playoffs. Oregon is currently an 18+ point favorite over any of them. Of course, we will have to play clean and execute, or anything can happen.

After watching all of the games yesterday, I believe that Indiana, Georgia and Ohio State are the teams to beat. Texas Tech is a paper tiger, IMO, who hasn’t played anyone. Oregon can compete and beat anyone, if we bring our A game and Dante Moore plays well.

I’m excited to see the bracket and how things unfold. One prediction had Ohio State and Georgia on the other side, which I would not mind one bit…
