We had quite a few in mid-second quarter on defense. No. 50 Gray, No. 99 Green, No. 2 Lopa, No. 14 Offord, No. 26 Jackson...you get the idea.

The defense is simply not good enough, 400+ yards of offense, 26 points, getting confused all over the place, it's not acceptable and it doesn't give me confidence for the future. Looks like Lupoi is too focused on the new job.

If I'm Lanning I'm furious at his players, himself, and most importantly the coaches, this is a C- performance at best for the D.

Even with our backups in, at home against JMU...this is concerning. I hate to say it but if we played any other team in the playoff besides JMU or Tulane I don't think we win even at home. I don't think the Orange Bowl is going to go very well for us

DL should shut down the duel responsibilities for the coordinators. They need to focus on their current jobs and not their new ones until the season is over. Full stop.

Texas Tech will obliterate us if our defense plays like this. Also, Dante Moore should not go to the NFL. He is not ready.

I'm sorry this is an embarrassing performance by the defense, shameful effort, I would absolutely light them up after the game, every single one of them on defense, not ready to play from the start, then the effort drifts as the game goes along.

Absolutely unacceptable from everyone involved, from the players obviously not having focus, to the coaches not being ready with a gameplan.

Tech is absolutely licking their lips watching it.
