Yesterday at 07:39 PM1 day No. We could really use Jordan Seaton. He certainly has a lot of places to consider, but Oregon has shown the ability to put a lot of OL into the NFL, so maybe we have a good chance.https://duckswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/college/ducks/football/2026/01/18/oregon-football-jordan-seaton-transfer-visit/88243681007/
Yesterday at 08:28 PM1 day Moderator No. I read somewhere that he’s asking $2.5 million, a ton of money for a single lineman. If Oregon gets him I hope he’s worth it!
Yesterday at 09:52 PM1 day Administrator No. We recruited him pretty hard the first time around, so he knows Lanning and most of the staff. The only thing is...he is a left tackle, and so is 'Nacho coming in, and I think he was probably assumed to be the starter? I don't know if 'Nacho is open to sitting and learning for a year... Mr. FishDuck

21 hours ago21 hr Moderator No. Kiffin is doing Kiffin things. He’s trying to keep him from visiting Oregon. This is an excerpt from SDS."Multiple reports that Seaton is expected to be in Oregon Monday, but his LSU itinerary stretches through Monday, including a private dinner at Supper Club Monday night, sources confirm."Also of note: Tuesday is the last day to register for classes at LSU for spring semester, so the roster will be set for spring football. Ideally, he would sign and enroll Tuesday when the campus reopens after the holiday."LSU Tigers On SILSU Football 'Pushing for Commitment' From Jordan Seaton...Lane Kiffin and the LSU Tigers continue intensifying their pursuit for Colorado Buffaloes offensive tackle Jordan Seaton as he navigates his official visit in B

Spend the money elsewhere.
21 hours ago21 hr No. Somehow, I find it doubtful Oregon would blow that much of the NIL/recruiting budget on Seaton.Doesn't fit the pattern OBD have adhered to so far.
19 hours ago19 hr Moderator No. I was excited about this one at first but the more I think about it, the cost of bringing him aboard could create needless tension in the locker room. I'd rather see them focus on D Line and linebacker depth.
16 hours ago16 hr Administrator No. Crader played GREAT at tackle versus USC...if the Yale transfer does not start at right tackle--I have all the confidence in Crader to play well. Mr. FishDuck
13 hours ago13 hr No. I will have to defer to more knowledgable minds (Dans in particular)... but, seems to me to be better spent (if that is a real amount) on depth for our situation.

2 hours ago2 hr No. I swear I remember we were trending to land Seaton out of HS, until Deon bedazzled him at the last minute.
