April 20, 20223 yr Moderator Recruiting at a high level definitely takes tenacity. Lanning started the hard work when he was able to keep many of the verbal commits and players that the last staff tried to take to Miami while working two full time jobs. Making a phone call to Jahlil Florence as he was headed to the locker room after winning the NC game is a moment that begins to sound legendary. Jahlil certainly will never forget that call. This staff has accomplished a lot in a short amount of time. When they signed Conerly Jr. that definitely gained the attention of other recruits and builds momentum going into the spring game, and recruiting event. Confidence has to be high right now. What an exciting time for the coach and his staff. I know that all Duck fans are excited and we haven’t even seen them coach a game yet.

April 20, 20223 yr Be sure to follow the link on the tweet above, formatting on this site doesn't show about 10 potential visitors including four 5 stars.
April 20, 20223 yr 19 potential visitors, that is awesome! Hopefully coming out of the weekend we have a few more commits!
April 20, 20223 yr Now it's up to us fans to do our part and fill Autzen to capacity and show these recruits what this team means to us and to them
April 20, 20223 yr Moderator Besides "The Pick" does any other Duck have a signature play like this one for Ifo Ekpre-Olomu?
April 20, 20223 yr Author Administrator Ifo stopping a Touchdown against Fresno State QB David Carr and WR Davante Adams who are now with the Raiders together. How cool a photo is that? Mr. FishDuck

April 21, 20223 yr Moderator Jeff Maehl, I came to know a Trojan during the Kelly years, he hated EVERYTHING about Oregon except for Maehl.
April 21, 20223 yr Man I wish I could be up in Eugene for the game this weekend and just to see some of these former players. What a great time it's going to be!
April 22, 20223 yr Moderator I think, hope, that Boyett would fit right in with the D we're going to see!
April 23, 20223 yr Looks like the stadium will be almost filled just with the former players and recruits. Great to have all the former players there, what a great way to sell the program to the recruits.
April 23, 20223 yr My wife asked to go on a date this weekend... To the Spring Game! With the amount of time we've spent helping other family members with their medical and age related issues, it will be only the second time we've been able to take in the Ducks together in a ridiculously long time... The last time was a game against ASU, in Tempe. My now 16 year old granddaughters hadn't been born yet. Clemens and Whitehead were the offensive leaders! That's scary, exciting... And a little embarrassing. We've only been married 47 years (48 in June). Edited April 23, 20223 yr by woundedknees
April 23, 20223 yr It is sad these guys haven't been around in so long, but an extremely exciting sign they feel accepted back on the field. I hope we see Bellotti and Brooks on the field at some point. Maybe Helfrich could re-emerge too. The guy should be about due for some love, and acceptance, once again!
April 25, 20223 yr Hopefully, the action on the field draws interest from some recruits more interested in PT than an excessive NIL deal.
