During the Clay Helton era, I don't think they were.  It was the media and their underachieving star power.

 

Now with Riley and what he has assembled, I hope they are delusional, but I fear they will walk the walk.

I agree, I don’t understand the list.  I will say that I’m surprised a little that UGA isn’t in the top ten.  Not that I want to be labeled as a dysfunctional fan base, but we are apt to have fans spread all over the south east literary barking at  opposing fans or even random people on game day.  In my experience it’s not done in an unruly or disrespectful way, but it’s a bit of a deviation from what’s considered socially acceptable. Kinda disappointed we didn’t make the list Lol.  
 

If your coming to Atlanta on Sept. 3rd Duck fans don’t be alarmed if you get barked at a bit.  There is no bite to go with it.  I would say 90% of Dawg fans would rather have a beer with you than talk trash.

I was thinking of their feeling of entitlement and thinking they would always win just because, well they are SC. 

 

I don't think that changes with the coach. I think they will be better with Riley, but how much better? Their fan base thinks they are winning and NC this year. Not happening.

Well top 5 is where our recruiting will be also.

If the function of a fanbase helping win a national title, the only school on the list which is totally dysfunctional are the dawgs up north. The rest of the list has won a men's national title in something.

 

A fanbase must base their fan function of something, or nothing like up north. That is dysfunctional, maybe a picture of the dawg fanbase is in the dictionary for dysfunctional.

That's what my dad did for his career too.  I myself am relegated to the Night Shift in my field.
