  1. Past hour
  2. Justius Lowe got his chances when Tez got hurt. He looked good out there, very good. But for some reason, he couldn't sustain it. McClellan looks like a star, not a fill in. I think he wins a starting spot next year no matter who else is in there. He impressed me the most of all the Oregon receivers so far. Davison is starting to look like Adrian Peterson, although he isn't quite there yet. He is young and his body is still developing. Give him another year or two and watch what he does.
  3. Today
  4. Should be interesting to see him develop over next season. I don't anticipate he'll get much playing time in his 1st year since he's got a lot of catching up to do. But his redshirt year should be pretty telling about how much impact he'll have on the offense going into his 3rd year.
  5. Well Kyle is taking the offensive coordinator from Utah, and the defensive coordinator from BYU. He's not going to coach the bowl game, as originally planned. He's flying to Orlando tonight, to meet with his new team. No transition, no goodbyes. He's now 100 percent invested in Michigan. I heard that Kyle might have been pushed into retirement, mainly because Utah wanted to hand the reigns over to their new head coach, somebody who they feared would take another job, if not promoted this off-season. Not known, but speculated by a few Ute insiders, whatever that means. I will say that this is about as good as Michigan could've hoped for. This late into the game, and with the crap storm of drama. Get away from the toxic Michigan man thing, we see what Michigan men have done the last decade. Heck your most revered coach, Bo Schembechler was a Buckeye😲.
  6. As far as I'm concerned, he still works at Oregon. He should be focusing on his current job duties before his new job.
  7. Thanks for sharing Drake! Run with Anger and Run to Dominate! These two are going to be fun to watch! Bright the future is! Go Ducks!
  8. I just hope Tosh starts to earn his paycheck from OREGON this playoffs.
  9. I've always said, "God Loves a Fact-Checker," but I'm sure he loves even more the "Fact-Checker to the Fact-Checker."
  10. HDuck, it may be 14 hours. But he lost the two hours he gained going west on the way over when he came back.
  11. During Whitt's years at Utah, he was 3-0 vs Michigan including 2-0 in Ann Arbor.
  12. Not sure, but I think that 12:45 am was local Hawaii time which means 10 hours after the 12:30 press conference in Berkeley.
  13. If he goes out and gets a young top level D coordinator like a next Lanning that gets groomed to take over in a few years, UM could be trouble.
  14. I think he was the perfect hire for Michigan to clean up their act, as he has the finest image. We have an editor for FishDuck.com, who has helped our writers for over a decade, and she is an avid buckeye fan. When urban Meyer left, she knew quite a bit about Urban and Whittingham working together at Utah, and she wanted Whitt to replace Meyer, not Ryan Day,. Even a few years later, she repeated that preference, although I think she is probably happy with last year‘s result.
  15. Still in the stop gap range. He's in his 70s does he want to coach beyond 5 years? Probably not... But he has enough time to right the ship and make a run of it.
  16. Well Urban went to Ohio State, and his successor went to Michigan. Who knew that Utah bred future coaches for 'The Game'.
  17. There’s a reason Oregon pops in the graphic below (and on the field), and it’s not because of white and gray. Let’s stick with yellow and green.

  21. Great hire for Michigan and a great fit Whit...... KW earned everything he received at Utah, including anunlimited supply of patience. Football is not life and death for the Utes administration and fans. That will not be the case at Michigan. It is a short leach at best. Either way, congratulations to KW! He earned this moment.
  22. He understood the assignment. He also was noticeably worn out in the JMU post game press conference per some reports. Dan Lanning and the new DC may have to do some heavier lifting on the defensive side from here on out if Tosh is too compromised from his Cal duties.

  24. This makes me think his Utah departure wasn't his idea....
  25. Looks like the contract is for 5 years ESPN.comSources: Whittingham, U-M agree to 5-year dealKyle Whittingham has agreed to a five-year deal to become Michigan's next head coach, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel and Dan Wetzel on Friday.
  26. Yesterday
  27. On Friday, Dec. 5, Lupoi was at his introductory press conference at 12:30 pm, in Berkeley, having flown that morning from Eugene. 12 hours later, 12:45 a.m., Saturday morning he was at Sagapolutele's house in Hawaii.
  28. It’s about to be 2026 and that was almost 20 years ago. In the modern era the right coach can get a terrible program into the playoff inside of 12 months of hire. Can Whit operate in 2026 from scratch? Will UM tolerate him going 8-4, but doing it the right way? Very far from a sure thing here imo.
