  2. I have my doubts about the 'Lion offensive line being as effective as last year. I would expect us to move our free safety up closer to the Linebacker zones to stop the big running plays. Do it until they outscore us with Allar's passing! Good topic.
  3. Very informative and entertaining article Jordan! Your stats on the QBs further supports my notion that even without big-game experience....Dante Moore will be the difference. Well, that and I have my doubts about the Penn State trenches being as good as last year.
  4. Urban Meyer recently called it the most difficult place to play at night in the white out. Oregon can win but they will have to execute and play very well on Saturday night.
  5. Get that back healing up Charles!
  6. So much is being made of the Whiteout. Humm. I think almost every road game is difficult in league play. The Shoe, the Bighouse, Husky Stadium, Reaser (after the renovation and before the dam collapse), Utah, etc. The Ducks have played in them all and survived. This is a very talented team, and I think our coaches will have them well prepared. I don't think the game will be perfect without any offensive line issues. Heck, we have false starts at home (see last week). But it will not be the intimidation that 49 states and the rest of the football world think it will be. GO DUCKS!!
  7. ESPN's Bill Connelly looks at OBD at PSU, as well as other Week 5 Big Ten and Big Games. Is anyone else surprised that the SEC game of the week appears first in the article's lead-in? However, the White Out Game is the first game analyzed. SP+ has OBD winning by 0.4. FPI likes PSU by 0.3! Keep your seat belts fastened. OT - SP+ likes Bama in a close win 'Tween the Hedges. FPI likes UGA in a close game. Kirby Smart is 1-6 vs. The Tide. However, this is the first of eight matchups being played on Georgia's home field. That's how often these two have battled in neutral sites in the biggest of games. Georgia has won 33 straight games at home; the last loss was against South Carolina on October 14, 2019. ESPN.comBama-Georgia, Oregon-Penn State and 26 more to watch in c...This weekend features the deepest schedule of the season -- and Bill Connelly is here for it all.
  8. I think it'll be a close one! 31-28 Ducks 2 Turnovers 2 Sack 289 Passing Yards
  9. Ducks 35-14 (Ducks roll and take the crowd out of it early) 1 TO 3 Sacks 276 Passing

  11. Trojans Wire like OBD and UW - UW? Washington has not lost a home game since 2021.😁 TOSU QB Sayin will be making his first start on the road in a tough enviornment. However, the UW D will miss three dinged up starters on the defense. I agree with TW. OBD, with many weapons on O, will not be shut down by the PSU D. https://trojanswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/college/trojans/football/2025/09/26/micah-huff-predictions-big-ten-football-week-5/86358640007/?utm_source=smg-trojanswire-strada&utm_medium=email&utm_c
  12. 9 AM body clock KO for SC at Illinois. The folks who have beefed the most about game times and travel? The LA coaches, of course. 🤮 https://trojanswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/college/trojans/football/2025/09/26/lincoln-riley-unhappy-kickoff-time-usc-football-illinois/86354792007/?utm_source=smg-trojanswire-strada&utm_medium=email&
  13. 38-30 Penn St 1 TO 0 sacks 260 passing. Run D has not been that impressive. Game Day + White Out + all day tailgating will have the crowd in a frenzy. Revenge game for Penn St. Jim Knowles. Big stage is too much for the young Duck team.
  14. One question has been answered. LaVar Arrington, one of the guys who once helped PSU be LB U, will be the guest prognosticator. What team will Saint Nick pick? Does he go with his pupil, Danno, or with Jimmy Frank? Pulverize Penn State! On3ESPN reveals Week 5 College GameDay guest picker for Penn....
  15. You certainly laid out what the Ducks need to do for a victory in Happy Valley. Composure and mistake free execution in all 3 phases are a must. To me it boils down to how the uber talented freshmen and RS Fresham handle the big stage. And this is a big stage....... Go Ducks, prove me wrong and bring home the win.
  16. DUCKS WIN! 38-28 2 Turnovers 1 Sack 312 yards passing
  17. PSU wins 35-31 1 - TO 0 - Sacks 315 passing yards I think its the first time i have picked against the Ducks! Leaves a bad taste in my mouth. GO DUCKS! Prove me wrong, please
  18. DUCKS 48 - 34 PSU - 3 TOs OBD - 3 sacks Pass Yards by OBD - 325 yds Punish Penn State! Take No Prisoners! Leave No Nits!
  19. Never… DM, with clean pocket, opts to throw ball 10 yards further downfield to the receiver breaking free on a post pattern.
  20. Is it OK if I get back to you on Saturday around 9 PM your time and early Sunday morning my time? The Right Coast is No Country for Sports-Watching Old Men! SIGH.🤬 However, since you inquired, and as I will shortly commit to in the prediction contest, I think OBD wins the game by two scores, at least. Drew Allar's safety blanket, TE Tyler Warren, has left the B1G and Beaver Stadium for a Bigger paycheck (I think?) 🤑 How will Allar respond to his first turnover in this game? The PSU OC knows he will have at least some success running the ball. But are the three newbie WRs going to give PSU a lethal passing attack? The PSU OC does not have Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate (Egbuka last season) on the field. There's a lot of youth in Oregon's Back 7, but the group is bigger and more athletic than the 2024 group. OBD has quick strike scoring ability that I don't believe PSU has. Jim Knowles doesn't have Caleb Downs on the field along with the other Buckeyes D guys who matriculated to the NFL. Penn State has a very good roster, but it is not on par with the roster Ohio State took to last season's playoff. Penn State, including a cupcake OOC threesome, is trying to duplicate what Michigan accomplished in 2024 and what Ohio State accomplished in 2025. I don't believe the Nits have the same talent level as Michigan and Ohio State, or the same coaching acumen. Plaster Penn State!
  21. We have more than enough talent to win this game. But with such a young squad, and almost no experience going into & playing in an environment like PSU, I'm struggling to see us pull it off. If it was at Autzen, I like Mr. Fishduck's score prediction. So, here's hoping I'm dead wrong: PSU 34-28 1 TO 1 Sack (so far, on the season, we've only had a total of 1) 281
  22. Ducks 41-34 2 TO 3 Sack 318 Passing Yards
  23. YES! Reason this game is the "Game Day" game. Winner of this game will be thrust into the "National Champion Favorite" narrative, while the loser will be a "great team" but XYZ issues will limit their ceiling. (ie: Ohio St last year after loss at Autzen, and we ALL know how that turned out). Regardless of the winner/loser of this game Both teams will be in the playoffs conversation the rest of the year. The playoffs are when you want to have discovered and addressed any weaknesses revealed during the course of the season. Then, is when you want to make "a run". Looking forward to this game. Could be a classic! 🦆🏈🪨's
  24. And of course the inverse to that: How quickly Dante releases based upon the distance of a 300# "edge" barreling down on him with murderous intent!
