  2. And just like that PSU gets an explosive pass reception to go up 15-3. Paint will have to wait for a minute or two.
  3. Scintillating "Would'a, Could'a, Should'a Bowl" FG fest Pinstripe Bowl between preseason #2 PSU and #4 Clemson going on now. Semi-watching it while doing a home project, so I can actually compare it to watching paint dry.
  4. I love our green and yellow school colors. There will always be a place for them. But I really care less what colors we are wearing as long as we are doing stuff like this on the field. Are we not entertained?
  5. It seems like our offense has become even more dynamic with McClellan and Benson in the starting roles. WS & DL are going to have to come up with an adaptive and creative plan for re-integrating Moore, Bryant and Stewart if they want to take our offense to the next level, or risk returning to our early season level. A great problem to have at this point in the campaign! Go Ducks! Trash the Techies!
  6. I enjoyed your take, 123, thanks. And you could be spot on. My response, FWIW.😁 Whit's Utah 'culture' is the culture in Ann Arbor. Rich Rod tried to change things up with the offense in Ann Arbor, and he crashed and burned. Whit is going to run the ball and punch you in the mouth on both sides of the ball. Utah rushed for an average of 270 yards a game in 2025, behind one of the best OLs in CFB. The passing game chipped in with 208 yards a game. These are Michigan football-like numbers. A three point loss at BYU is flipped and 1-1 Utah has a good shot at the PO. Jason Beck is a creative OC and is likely to follow Whit to Michigan. Beck is a young coach who will connect with recruits. Beck's offense will have more appeal for skill players than Moore's offense. Miami has a terrific recruiter in Cristobal, but the Canes also have boosters who write big checks. Michigan grad and Oracle CEO, Larry Ellison, has surpassed Elon Musk as the world's richest man, and Ellison was behind the money raised to take QB Bryce Underwood away from LSU. If Michigan wants a player, money will not be an issue. In 2025, Michigan was a young football team. To date, no highly ranked recruit has decommitted, as they have the right to do so with a coaching change, and the roster has not been significantly impacted by players heading to the transfer portal. Whit is savvy enough to know that the roster is job No. 1. Michigan has all the resources of Miami, superior facilities, a better game day stadium and attendance situation, and far more tradition. Plus, Michigan is a member of a much stronger conference. No program has won more football games than Michigan. Now, Michigan has a coach with a spotless reputation; a coach Michigan boosters will align with. No recruit and the recruit's agent will dismiss a Michigan offer out of hand. Under Whit, Michigan will continue to field Blue Chip Roster teams, including the roster he will bring to Autzen next season. Considering the timing of the hire, I don't think Michigan could have hired a better coach. Whit has a proven track record in Power Conference football. Sumerall from Tulane to Florida, Golesh from USF to Auburn, Silverfield from Memphis to Arkansas, and Chesney from JMU to UCLA, are all P4 prove it hires. Whit, on the other hand ... Considering the ever-changing landscape of college football, a five-year deal could be perfect timing for Michigan. The B1G has the advantage of being the first conference with a new media deal, with the new deal beginning in 2030. I think Whit will right the ship and have Michigan positioned to hire a younger coach with a proven record come 2030. Considering the timing of the two hires, could Michigan or Penn State have done any better? I don't think so. Add in Pat Fitzgerald at Michigan State, and IMO, the B1G emerged from hiring season in much better shape than the SEC, especially considering the chaos surrounding LSU's poaching of Kiffin. However, all of your concerns about the hire are legitimate and could play out. HAIL TO THE VICTORS! Perhaps? 10. The one way he could get playing time as a freshman is at the X or maybe Y WR spot due to his 6'2" size and track speed. Even if he is just a decoy for DAK, JMac or EStew he is a match-up nightmare. I don't see how an opposing DC can ignore him. He is no longer some talented 18 year old fresh out of HS who needs to grow into his body. Assuming he gets the full attention of Oregon's training staff, weight room and vast strength and conditioning facilities for the next eight months, he'll be ready to contribute by fall. Very excited to see him in the spring game with only four months in the system.
  11. I find it interesting that in every category, the Ducks and Whosures are right next to each other. As stated earlier, the TT Tread Traders have had a season vs. Sisters Of Forever Terrible (SOFT). OBD by 17.

  15. Ute fans aren’t taking this well.
  16. Justius Lowe was a solid possession receiver but was not remarkable, IMO. He probably would have started/played significant snaps in Coach Bellotti’s days. I wish him luck at his new school. Just goes to show you how much talent Oregon has now across the board.
  17. Here is my counterargument: Age. He is too old to transition to not just a new team, but a bigger conference and a place where college football matters a lot more than the state of Utah. I don't think he can connect with the kids and bring them to Ann Arbor. You can talk x's and o's all day, but in the end, it is about bringing in the talent. Kalen DeBoer is a good coach, but Alabama's talent level isn't quite the same as with Saban. Brian Kelly couldn't do it at LSU. Mario is surprising me at Miami. I would have thought they would have flamed out by now. But when I saw them play their playoff game, I saw a lot talent on that field. He is bringing in talent even though his offense still sucks. Coach Wit has made a living off of bringing in overlooked 3 star guys and getting them ready to play Mtn West/Pac12/ Big 12 games - not the same as bringing in high 4 star guys from the midwest and playing Big 10 games. Recruiting is always going to be the number one asset of a head coach. The best head coaches would also be the best used car salesmen - think about it. Chip was good here because Nike U. did the selling for him. Not so when he was at UCLA. Chip did well with some good players, but he never got a whole team of them at UCLA. Is coach Wit going to be able to stop kids from going to USC, Oregon, Washington, Nebraska, Penn St, and Ohio St and steer them into Michigan? I don't see it. I think they will play good quality football, but not have the star players to beat the good teams. I predict they go to bowl games every year, and that is their new upside.
  18. I have USC as a southern team for a few reasons. First, the weather in November and December - 70 degrees and sunny. Next to the beach, like the Florida schools. The fans dressed in summer clothing. The party atmosphere at their games. The song girls. Their mascot. The receivers catching balls all over the field. Their athletes. They are more like a team a little west of Texas than a team in the mid west.
  19. Justius Lowe got his chances when Tez got hurt. He looked good out there, very good. But for some reason, he couldn't sustain it. McClellan looks like a star, not a fill in. I think he wins a starting spot next year no matter who else is in there. He impressed me the most of all the Oregon receivers so far. Davison is starting to look like Adrian Peterson, although he isn't quite there yet. He is young and his body is still developing. Give him another year or two and watch what he does.
  20. Should be interesting to see him develop over next season. I don't anticipate he'll get much playing time in his 1st year since he's got a lot of catching up to do. But his redshirt year should be pretty telling about how much impact he'll have on the offense going into his 3rd year.
  21. Well Kyle is taking the offensive coordinator from Utah, and the defensive coordinator from BYU. He's not going to coach the bowl game, as originally planned. He's flying to Orlando tonight, to meet with his new team. No transition, no goodbyes. He's now 100 percent invested in Michigan. I heard that Kyle might have been pushed into retirement, mainly because Utah wanted to hand the reigns over to their new head coach, somebody who they feared would take another job, if not promoted this off-season. Not known, but speculated by a few Ute insiders, whatever that means. I will say that this is about as good as Michigan could've hoped for. This late into the game, and with the crap storm of drama. Get away from the toxic Michigan man thing, we see what Michigan men have done the last decade. Heck your most revered coach, Bo Schembechler was a Buckeye😲.
  22. As far as I'm concerned, he still works at Oregon. He should be focusing on his current job duties before his new job.
  23. Thanks for sharing Drake! Run with Anger and Run to Dominate! These two are going to be fun to watch! Bright the future is! Go Ducks!
  24. I just hope Tosh starts to earn his paycheck from OREGON this playoffs.
