  2. Frustrating, so sloppy on offense, very little ball movement, no drives to the rim, Shelstad needs to go to the rim more than he does, doesn't feel like teams really respect him as a driver. Need better free throw shooting, need to box out the shooter on shots, it's just not good enough. All that said it's a 4 point game!
  3. Turnovers and defensive rebounding has been bad, other facets have been decent to good, but we won't win games giving up a offensive rebound on half of Auburn's shots, and turning it over every third possession.
  4. It’s going to be hard to win if Auburn gets twice as many shots. Settle down guys.
  5. First thing I see is a Auburn team that is much more active and much more hungry for loose balls, need to fight through screens better, need to rebound. We're going to struggle in the half court. It's way early of course, but a bunch of turnovers already.
  6. For a walk-on qb to make backup in this day and age is amazing. This is no disrespect to Novosad or Moga, just amazement at the effort by Thomas. From what little we've seen from those two, it's clear we think they could manage playing D1 football. What an example of "never, never give up". It will be interesting to see what happens in the transfer portal. Akili Smith Jr is more than capable, young Beaver is promising, someone (something) has to give(go). We will see. Meanwhile, we know coaches have a keen eye for qb's. We seem to be in capable hands.

  8. Totally agree. Stayed off the -9-5 lasts week and enjoyed the game with two grandsons (got them off the ipads for 3 hours, not counting half time). Never rest easy on the Ducks without a 2 score lead. Still have nightmares of '93 Cal wherein they had the second largest comeback in NCAA history (at that time. Being born in San Antonio "remember the Alamo" is a two-edge sword). It will be interesting if he makes it to the playoffs in the next 2 years. Otherwise, bye bye when the bye-out is more manageable and more people will donate.
  9. I apologize if this has already been posted but I had not seen it and found it very interesting. oregonliveSheldon High’s Brock Thomas defies odds as No. 7 Oregon D...Thomas, overlooked by Power 4 programs, has surpringly earned the backup quarterback role at Oregon.
  10. Troll the Trojans with Janet Jackson?! Love it!!!
  11. Yesterday
  12. Chip Kelly “left” OBD (he was forced out by a pending NCAA suspension) in 2012! The high school players being recruited today were five years old. I question whether they even know his name, and certainly don’t know his out dated offensive system.
  13. Kenyon Sadiq becomes Oregon's first-ever John Mackey Award finalist Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq has been named a John Mackey Award finalist, becoming the school's first to date. Sadiq leads the Ducks in receptions, yardage and touchdowns.
  14. Oregon Ducks fans are fired up for the 'Ducks vs. Them' cinematic recap video from Oregon's exciting 42-27 win over the USC Trojans. At the game, Oregon blasted Kendrick Lamar's 'Not Like Us' - a song often used by teams in Los Angeles. It marked the Ducks' fourth straight win over USC and sixth in the last seven games. The below link takes you to Instagram. You should be able to watch it. X out of the signup screen to see the teaser. 15. JJ, may your Chaos predictions reign supreme this Saturday. As long as OBD's take care of the horde of leg-lifters then your Chaos wishes will land the Ducks a 5 spot. The conmittee has back pedaled and changed their metrics at everyturn to please espn/abc! Cow towwing to their puppet masters for ratings. This will be a great weekend as long as OBD's take care of business. GO DUCKS! GO SEC CHAOS!
  16. Eugene OL offered preferred walkon status. Hope he turns out like Mr. Thomas. Oregon opportunity ‘unreal’ for Willamette OL Aiden Lewey
  17. 5 huskies to know (or not) Know the Foe: Five Washington Husky players to know Our last 10 games vs ewe dub Recounting the last 10 football games between the Oregon Ducks and Washington Huskies
  18. It would be interesting to see the AD’s realistic list of candidates vs. the candidates that rodent fans think they can attract. If I were the agent of whom they hire, I would make it a habit of verifying that paychecks cleared each payday…lol
  19. I wouldn't. 🤷🏾‍♂️
  20. Ha! When that back link order came in, I had no idea what it was, and in many respects, I still don’t, and it may be of dubious ingredients. But it helps to pay the bills…
  21. Funny, in Beavis fan sites they don’t want to include him in their search cuz they’re being super selective 😂 Loved Chip’s time here, but we can go ahead and cross him off the list for any potential openings imo…oh, and cross off Brooks and Bellotti while we’re at it.
  22. My last memory of Chip is his Rose Bowl offense this year.
  23. If Lanning wins the next two games against the Bastard-Huskies, and the first Playoff game....He will have the same record!
  24. Yeah, that was a dumb question. I don't blame him for being salty. Having a good year and now out of the playoffs with the loss. I agree with Josh Pate's take on the USC / Riley situation: "I totally understand if USC fans are frustrated and want him gone. He's made wholesale changes this year that are right for the program, but are changes that should have happened 3 years ago. That said, those changes will finally have payoff next year and the year after. If you don't want to wait 2-3 more years, I get it, but if you do, you might finally see USC where they ought to be." ** quotations above don't mean word for word, but basically what Pate said. With USC's #1 2026 recruiting class--I know it's ranked that high because of sheer volume--but that's where you have to start to build depth, and that could set USC on track. My preference is not to poke the USC bear. All they need is a Mari Cristbal or Lanning-type recruiter to make recruiting life difficult for the Ducks. That said, my sign would have said, "Extend Lincoln Riley, or re-hire Clay Helton!"
  25. Not sure exactly how accurate it is, but I've read Boise State and Auburn fans suggest by comparison Harsin makes Bryan Kelly look charming. I think Oregon kicked the tires on Harsin in both 2017 and 2021. It certainly could be argued that had potential disaster written all over it.
  26. 🤣🤣🤣- Now, now, Lincoln. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/usc-football-lincoln-riley-temper-oregon-loss-cfp/?eid=c7d8647c6247db8d08c59fe44bc30380a147aa90b9e33099045cd46ddc6a485b&ftag=SNL-04-10aaa0b&ET_CID=492450&ET_RID=52482716
  27. The B1G schedulers have the four West Coast teams playing one another to finish the last two weeks of the season. Last week: USC at Oregon Washington at UCLA Next week: Oregon at Washington UCLA at USC I would personally rather play our former PAC-10 opponents than travel to the Midwest or Northeast in mid to late November.
