  2. Holy Hoosier! 73-0 over Indiana State. I guess the 3-0 Hoosiers were perfect from the 3-point line. 😁 Interesting game next Saturday when the about-to-be 3-0 Illinois visits 3-0 Indiana. Meanwhile, Syracuse brushed off (🤪) Colgate 66 to 24.
  3. Indiana just squashed their in-state brethren Indiana State 73-0. I hope OBD puts up that kind of score on the Beavos next weekend!
  4. And New Mexico is up 14-7 on UCLA? The Bruins can't stop the running game of the....LOBOs?
  5. Watching Colorado vs Houston right now. UH is either a solid team or Colorado is just bad 😐 36-20 Houston with 2:36 left in the 4th.

  7. After watching Caleb Downs in the Rose Bowl, I'm certain OBD was looking for a guy with the same kind of skills. Two games to go, and don't count your Ducks before the eggs hatch, but the chess match on both sides of the ball in the middle of a White Out should be fascinating. Thanks again to you, Coach, Charles, Mike West, David Marsh, and other enlightened X+O posters for providing a deeper dive into the nuances not readily apparent to the viewer. (Especially after a 'few' primo IPAs 😁)

  11. Coach, It's good to see you're still around! Hope all is well and thanks for the pointing it out. I didn't even notice it until you brought it up.

  16. OK thumbs down to buckeye posturing, but it does kind of make sense to reward playoff teams like the NFL does. As for the regular season, hopefully revenues remain divided equally, but this is no longer a sport that even pretends to be equitable. Rewarding performance, i.e. playoff appearances, is at least an objective standard that all conference teams have the opportunity to achieve. The TV ratings gimmick that USC used to use on the Pac-10 is too subjective and easily manipulated. It's easy to have the best ratings when you get the best time slots all the time.
  17. I thought my level of hatred for tosu was complete . . . I guess not.
  18. Compared to our stats after game 2 last year.... a LOT less. Jeanty was hot or cold against Oregon but still put up a lot of yards. Oregon held him under 2 yards per carry for a majority of the game but he still ripped off a couple long runs to change that overall average. We haven't had a real test against the run just yet but keeping lesser opponents contained on the run game is a good start.
  19. Ducks 48-17 2 Turnovers 3 sacks 308 passing yards
  20. I would say it was installed because it gave them issues in the Rose Bowl and they have the safety talent to do it. Coaches tend to take things that they like, or things they struggled against, and add them to their system if it fits.
