Prediction: Mario and ‘The U’ Beat Indiana by Double Digits
I think IU wins by 21 or so. I hope I'm wrong, it's incredibly petty of me to want Indiana to come up short, but I really hate the idea of them winning a championship before us.

Dante Moore to Return to DUCKS !!!
Great news. Now to bring in an elite level QB coach.

Prediction: Mario and ‘The U’ Beat Indiana by Double Digits
Here's why I don't see that happening. One reason, it would mean Mario outcoached Cignetti. That's not happening.

Dante Moore to Return to DUCKS !!!
Smart move by Dante. Drafted QB's with as few starts as him have been notoriously bad at the next level. He has some important growing to do. Particularly in anticipation and throwing in cluttered windows over the middle. Now we need to capitalize on the amazing WR room we will have next year. A strong RB room as well. Our new OC has the 'Jimmy's & joes', will he be able to design the 'x's & o's'!

Football Is Over, Baseball Is Around The Corner And Basketball Is A Hot Mess
It is entirely roster construction. If you go through each addition to the team this year you'll see a very unproven player who is also a weird fit for the team. Basically struck out on every player that was brought in, combine this with Shelstad being injured, Evans suffering from Richardson-itis, Bittle being banged up constantly, and Phillips not developing, and you get the losing season it looks like this will produce. I will always say it's possible that a light gets switched, but it seems a long way away at this point, and I have to wonder about the mood in the team, seems like it is snowballing into a non competitive team. I do think that Dana has to take a look at his staff, it's a good point to wonder if this part of the recruiting struggles with transfers. It's weird since Oregon had such success with transfers until the last couple years. Dana can bounce back, everyone was wondering if Graves was done after a couple bad years, but he's rebounding into looking like he's got the program back on track!

Dante Moore to Return to DUCKS !!!
I think Moore is going to be a force to be reckoned with next season.

Dante Moore to Return to DUCKS !!!
Yes, it can certainly work out. It's more of a preference thing. He's just not my type of QB that I prefer. I like QBs that are mobile, I like guys that are more vocal leaders. I'm sure I'm also still being influenced by the below par play in the last two games. Moore has the tools to be "that" guy. I also think it is very likely that we are a better football team with him at the helm than any of the options currently on the team.

Dante Moore to Return to DUCKS !!!
This is my thought too. I was highly critical of Moore though the season, but he did show improvement over UCLA and earlier in the year. Seeing Bo:s improvement in his second Oregon season was impressive. I'm hoping for the same amount of improvement. Not saying he will play like Bo. He will make more mistakes and bigger plays than Bo did. It will be interesting to see what changes our new OC makes despite the same returning QB.

Bronco the "stepping stone" question was a small part of a much bigger question. Mario answered the bigger part of the question and ignored the stepping stone part.

Dante Moore to Return to DUCKS !!!
The Auburn fanbase referred to Nix as Bo Picks and seemed fine with him leaving. Experience can work wonders. We've been spoiled by three years of having basically the most experienced college QB ever. I for one am happy to hear this news and look forward to seeing Dante grow.

Prediction: Mario and ‘The U’ Beat Indiana by Double Digits
Both teams played a common opponent (Ohio State) within two weeks of one another. Both games were at neutral sites. Both beat them in close games. I think people see Indiana as some unbeatable juggernaut because they killed Bama and Oregon. Maybe they will kill Miami, but Josh Pate doesn't think so. He has the Canes winning a close one.

My position is that for the Ducks to get to the next level somebody's standards will have to change. Not that "my standards" matter, they don't. If the coaches think we're good, and the majority of the fans think we're good, then who am I to impose some unrealistic standard or expectation. We generally hit want we aim for, so as long as you're happy with what you're seeing then good for you. Go Ducks

The Perfect Oregon Ducks T Shirt For.......
I am definitely saddened by Bob's passing. My first Dead show was the '72 Veneta Country Fair. I was 11 (my oldest sister and her then boyfriend took me). An 11 year old left to wander about with 1000s of various "high" young adults? Probably the early education that I needed. In many respects, the Dead made me who I am today. And for that I'm grateful.

Football Is Over, Baseball Is Around The Corner And Basketball Is A Hot Mess
My amateur observation is that it is a roster construction problem. I have no idea what NIL opportunities that Altman has to offer. But, I think it is time to take a hard look at the recruiting capabilities of his long-time assistants. This is a new era for roster construction, and my impression is they have not adapted very well. I've always felt that being competitive in Big Ten basketball would be a struggle. But, landing between 16th and 18th in the standings will drain the program of energy and fan interest/attendance. Especially if the Ducks consistently end up in the bottom half going forward and get bounced early in the B1G Tournament. Attendance, even in the best of times, has been soft for a variety of reasons. But, attendance for a team with a bunch of L's will be abysmal.

Dante Moore to Return to DUCKS !!!
And I happen to believe it makes no sense for him or OBD. If he went out now he'd be down the list of draftees, maybe 8-12. The Ducks have had lots of QB's go much higher. Harrington went to Detroit and got the hell beat out of him. Mariota went to Tennessee and got the hell beat out him. Hubert went to the Chargers and is still getting the hell beat out of him. However Nix, who was farther down the list, went to Denver and is doing great. I expect that Moore will have a tough battle to be the starter. Better for him if he loses.

Dante Moore to Return to DUCKS !!!
I know I'm in the minority here, but I don't think I could really be less enthusiastic for the returning of a projected 1st rounder at QB than I am about Dante Moore. I think he has a ton of tools, but I just don't know if this the guy that can lead a team to a championship, mightily struggled against every tough defense that he faced, and while there are mitigating circumstances (injuries, play of the O-line, etc.) I just don't know if he has "it". I'm probably wrong, he will have a very good season, but until I see him dominate a great defense then I'll be skeptical that he can do it.

Dante Moore to Return to DUCKS !!!
I agree. I would love to have Akili Jr. beat out Raiola. Not to under play a broken bone but my understanding was that it was a broken fibula without tibia damage and that is a "good" break to have (experience speaks for a hell of a lot less NIL).

Make sense for him. And good for OBD.
