Gotta say that I'm surprised OSU only has 7 points in the waning minutes of the first half. Compared to 34 on OBD, you have to wonder what happened to our defense.

Ducks started the game with impressive defensive intensity and jumped to a 7-2 lead. Then Illinios started banging, bumping, and contenting everything and OBD seemed to wilt. Doesn't bode well for a long season in the Big. Curious to hear Dana's assessment.

Matayo U. had one tackle yesterday. Surprising how much of a non-factor he was. One of our stars I thought would be a difference maker. Again, as Lanning said, the coaches did not put their players in a position to succeed. Confounding really, given a month to prepare for OSU.

Kenyon Sadiq? From a schematic perspective, I'd like to know how Kenyon went from monster game against PSU to non-factor in the Rose Bowl? Seemed like DG wasn't seeing the field as he normally does, but I also didn't see many/any throws to Kenyon. Isn't he one of our Uber athletes that's difficult to match up with?

Did Sadiq get any targets first half?
