  1. But, Nick seems like such a jolly fellow to have hanging around.
  2. Take that, Alabama! Big fat NO!
  3. I say he ain't going to Tuscaloosa. And it will be yet another data point in the ongoing collapse of all the entrenched narratives about college football, about the so-called blue bloods, the top jobs, the path every coach must follow. There are now more places to succeed than the Paul FInebaum world view wants to acknowledge. Oregon is one of them and Lanning knows it. He has a place where he can create his own legacy, instead of having to live up to someone else's achievements. Alabama is no longer the holy grail; coaches can say thanks, but I've got my own deal going. So, I say Lanning is staying. Unless I'm wrong.
  4. I feel strongly that he's either going to take the Alabama job, or he's not. One of those two. For sure. And, I have inside sources for this.

  11. How are scholarship limits playing into these decisions?
  12. Mario beat DeBoer when DeBoer was at Fresno State. Not really a good comparison, IMHO.
  13. I'd have to re-watch to confirm, but I swear I saw #3 go on, then come off, the field before Liberty ran their first play. I was wondering at the time if Dorlus was hurt.
  14. Has Dickey gotten any snaps yet?
  15. Sensing a change in the game dynamics here.
  16. Liberty's O-line is pretty good.
  17. Hmmm...not what I would call a good start.
  18. I couldn't bring myself to watch it.
  19. Could be important if Tez Johnson leaves. Oregon receiver Tez Johnson noncommittal about plans for 2024 WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM Tez Johnson, who has 75 catches for 1,010 yards and nine touchdowns for the No. 8 Ducks...
  20. Oregon defensive end Jordan Burch, cornerback Jahlil Florence ‘game-time decisions’ for Fiesta Bowl WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM The status of two of Oregon’s most critical starting defenders remains murky ahead of the Fiesta Bowl.
  21. A bold move by Mr. & Mrs. Sappington to name their son Atticus.
