  1. Those videos are simply amazing, and much credit is due to who makes them; the video quality, the scripting and pacing and sequencing of the shots, it's all crazy good. After watching the Wisconsin game video, I wanted to jump around with the players and I'm a cynical old fart. And I thought, who would not want to play for Dan Lanning? Pumping up that song all pre-game week was a stroke of genius, and it paid off in a big way. He's a master of what he does.
  2. Snap count against the Badgers. It appears that both Rogers and Iuli have been mislabeled as left guards, instead of right guards. No. 1 Oregon football snap counts: Who played the most in Ducks’ win over Wisconsin? WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM A look at who played the most — and least — in the Ducks' road win over the Badgers.
  3. Fun fact: the Badgers have a punter named Atticus. What are the odds? Atticus Bertrams - Wisconsin Badgers Punter - ESPN WWW.ESPN.COM View the profile of Wisconsin Badgers Punter Atticus Bertrams on ESPN. Get the latest news, live stats and game highlights.
  4. The national narrative of the Ducks is changing... In prior years, the headline would have been something like, "Oregon's Shortcomings Revealed in Narrow Victory". Now, it's more, "Ducks Clamp Down to Earn Hard-Fought Win". Mandel's quote, "But the Ducks did what great teams do..." shows how things have changed. The narrative has shifted to one in which the Ducks are a great team that finds ways to win, not a lucky, undeserving team that barely beats un-ranked teams. I tell you, this is a big shift in national perceptions.
  5. They’re good enough right now. That’s all that matters, not their record.

  10. I was not going to comment on this, in order the keep the trend going, but for me these are the Good Old Days. Maybe not much to complain about or argue about, but a lot to savor and feel good about on a daily basis. #1 in the country week after week, impressive victories game after game, a bright future for the program: it's all good and it doesn't happen very often. Time to sit back and enjoy it.
  11. You're right, that could be true. INAL, so I don't know, but it sounds like something that could result lots of billable hours on both sides, with the risk of the school losing.
  12. A $50k fine is a lot less to pay than whatever multi-million-dollar buy-out Riley has. Besides, he's a gift to the rest of the conference.
  13. Great writing, Darren, well done. Are you saying you never saw Kevin Costner's Water World?
  14. USC 5-star commit reportedly trending toward major flip SATURDAYTRADITION.COM USC could soon find itself without a high school quarterback commit for the second consecutive cycle.
  15. I ran Lanning's quote through Google Translate and he said ,"He has a minor injury and although he probably could have gone back in, Noah was doing fine and we want to make sure Jordan is healthy going forward."

  23. More just an uncouth, ill-mannered, presumptuous outsider than a villain. Villain status may take another couple of seasons.
  24. Let's translate "canard" into French, and then say, "Allez les Canards!"
