Bryce Boettcher - Another Eugene Product & Surprise
He is a Junior this year. Played special teams for us last year. Love to see his impact and intensity out there. Looks like a true old school player.

Overtime Rules - Colorado Took First Possession Twice
From reading the rules it looks like Colorado chose the direction they were going for the first overtime which then gave CSU the option in the 2nd OT. Terrible mistake as you always want to go second in overtime (even though it worked in their favor). “Overtime begins with a coin toss to determine which team starts with the ball in overtime, with the visiting team calling the toss. The winner of the coin toss can either play offense or defense to start, or can opt to choose which side of the field it wants to start. There is no deferral. The team that loses the toss has to make the remaining decision, and then has the first pick to start the second overtime. The team that won the first coin toss will pick for any even-numbered overtime periods, and the team that lost the coin toss will make the decision in every odd-numbered period.”

Pac-12 to Provide Enhanced Access to College Football Broadcasts
Pac-12 to provide enhanced access to college football broadcasts - ESPN WWW.ESPN.COM The Pac-12 will provide enhanced in-game and pregame access during broadcasts of college football games this fall, including in-game head coach interviews and having select coaches and... I like the sound of this and should help with the negotiations taking place for media rights. Having more of an open broadcast and more visibility to the players and coaches is only going to be a good thing for the PAC. Now it sounds like the NCAA needs to sign off on the level of access, so fingers crossed.

Ducks Signing National Letter of Intent...Hooray!
Can someone explain the NIL process a little bit more? It seems like it is still the wild wild west so trying to wrap my head around it. Are the coaches and University able to discuss NIL and offer them deals specifically? Or is it a "3rd party" group that represents the University and offers them the contract? Are these numbers available to see or does it not disclosed? Is it then a yearly contract that can be pulled or extended based on performance within the program? Are there any restrictions at all? Obviously having Uncle Phil really helped with this recruiting class as he has the biggest pocket book out there and is set on winning a Natty when he is still alive.

Jurrion Dickey Flipping?
We need to remember these are 17-18 year old KIDS and this is a huge life decision for them. Each and every one of them should be looking at the entire picture and be sure their decision is the right decision. And I just hope the majority of the time the right decision leads them to Eugene.
