Oregon "Not Really" a B1G Team...

Nobody voted Oregon #7. That is showing the high and low ranking of the entire season, so we were 7th a couple weeks ago. -

Evening CFB Games to Discuss: No. 1 Texas vs. Georgia!

Brutal call. I fear for that refs safety after that one -
Never like seeing a surprise scratch like T-Ferg. Hope he is alright and only minor. No reports on what the injury is.

More than likely Jeanty will be on a top 10 team when the season is over. And even if he isnt that shouldn't matter. The heisman last year was on a team with 3 losses. If he keeps it up for the rest of the season I will be disappointed if he does not win the Heisman as he is absolutely dominating. Hard to not root for this kid.

This Intentional Penalty is Next Level Coaching
QuackyQuack replied to David Marsh's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
What makes it even sweeter is that the kick bounced off of Denzel Burke who got absolutely torched all night by DG. He sure had a night he wants to forget. -
So I am definitely not the person more knowledgeable... BUT I watched this replay a couple times and I can understand why DG did not have the confidence to throw that ball. Even though it looks like Tez is wide open, I am sure DG had some PTSD from the last two games where he threw two interceptions on out routes in the end zone. He does not have the arm strength to confidently throw that ball across the field without the risk of a hidden defender slipping the route and having an easy stroll to a 100 year pick 6...

I was going to do an offensive line appreciation post but knew Fishduck himself would chime in! Other than two bad snaps (that I remember) they were absolutely incredible last night. Leading up to the game all we heard about was how incredible their interior lineman were, but thinking back I don’t know if their DL names were mentioned once during the game for making a big time play. The O-line is turning into one of our strengths with James running like a man with bad intentions. BTW - James ran for more yards than their 2 big name RBs. Talk about making a statement for our O-line!!!

Not sure I agree. USC was extremely close to making it 3 huge wins for the old PAC teams against the historically top 3 teams in the B1G. If USC would have beaten Penn State then it would have completed the trifecta of tOSU, Michigan, and Penn State losing to the “soft” teams from the PAC in a two week span.

And then his last statement in the post game press conference DL said “if you see any good players, tell them to come here.” Love it!

OBD Prediction Contest vs. Ohio State!

Ducks 42-17 (everyone else is saying a 3 point game so I am going big!) 3 TOs 4 sacks 325 passing -
He returned to the game on Friday after the injury and it has sounded like he has been a full go all week in practice. I keep telling myself his role hasn't been huge because the playbook wasn't fully opened up and we didn't want to show our cards. Saturday is going to be different. Bird bombs are coming E-Stews way! Prediction - 7 catches, 115 yards and 2 TD's

Top goals - become Oregon's most winningest coach... Love this guy!

A Buckeye Declaration That Will NOT Age Well...

Have to agree with you on that one. There should be a requirement when you sell your tickets to this game that the buyers have to answer 3 Oregon football history questions to make sure they are going to the right person! lol -
Oregon Offense: Will Stein Backs Up His Vow
QuackyQuack replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Excellent article like always! Appreciate you Charles. So I was thinking about the playbook and how its been said that we will finally "open it up" and have full access to all the plays. I have been thinking about this and mostly have agreed, but then I remembered our coaching staff and how this is chess not checkers. This is looking like the 1st of potentially 3 games against tOSU. Do the coaches make a cognitive decision to not show all their cards in this game knowing the next game against tOSU (and the potential one after that) will be the more important games? Something to consider as we watch this heavy weight fight. -

New CFB Playoff REMOVES the Pressure Off This Game?
QuackyQuack replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
The Ducks are actually the dogs in the one. tOSU is favored by 3.5 right now. So with the standard 3 points for home field advantage Vegas is thinking tOSU is better by 6.5 points. -
ESPN Computer Picks Ohio State to Beat Oregon
QuackyQuack replied to 30Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
So this is something that I am a little worried about but hopefully I am overthinking it. tOSU fans travel great. Not sure how many Oregon season ticket holders are looking at what the tickets were selling for and decided to sell this one game and pay for almost the rest of the season. I hope this isn't the case and it is 85% Oregon fans... We shall see. -
The week we all have been waiting for is finally here! This more than likely is the most hyped game that Autzen has ever hosted. I have been thinking about a few things and just wanted to put some ink to paper and see if you all agree or not. - A close game wont change either teams season - win or lose - Of course we all want a Ducks win, but repeat after me, the season is not over if we lose. So keep your cool and don’t lose your mind if the outcome is not favorable. This might be one of three games that OBD face off with tOSU - With that first point being made, we are going to see some interesting strategies from both coaches. Since both teams can afford a loss I believe they are going to throw some haymakers. We will see some big risks and creative play calling. Finally the full playbook will be open up! - Key matchups - Their stud WRs vs our untested secondary - If you haven’t had a chance to see Jeremiah Smith play then you are missing out. He is truly a generational talent. Chip Kelly has said at 18 years old he would be the starting receiver on any NFL team today. The big question is has he faced a player like Jabbar Muhammad yet? Smith does have about 5-6” on Muhammad so that is something to be aware of.. - I expect tOSU to throw mostly at whoever Niko Reed/Dontae Manning is matched up against - Our stud DL vs their untested OL - If our DL can continue to pressure the QB like they have over the last couple of games, it could disrupt the passing game and slow down their running game. This in my eyes is where the game will be won or lost. What are your thoughts leading up to the game? Its going to be a long week with anticipation!

Canzano: Informative and Makes Me Want to Hurl...

I don’t see a link to the actual article but your quote sounds like he is talking about the demise of the PAC with everyone leaving and not the current two teams. -
