I haven't heard anything from former players that is negative about Cristobal. I guess the closest thing would be how current players are saying football is fun again. I do believe he lost the team towards the end of the season especially after everything that went on.

Mr Fishduck I have to honorably disagree with your concerns about him staying a Duck. McDuck's information about him being from the NW and not seeing anything at MCs Oregon in comparison to OU Riley then oops everything changed gives me confidence he's a Duck and will wow us along side Dickey for years to come.

Yes he was "blur" but he was also tough and strong. I don't remember exactly but his YAC must have been off the charts. He is and was the goat RB for the Ducks. If he had played 4 yrs he would still hold the record for most yards gained by a Duck. He's my favorite Duck I've ever seen play and I'm a greybeard.

Yikes. Some Player Insight Into Cristobal...
Duck 1972 replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I don't know how many times I have seen coaches do the same thing and probably more times but they didn't show it on TV. Coaches and players are human with all the intricacies of behavior. No one is perfect Those who expect perfection are not living in reality. The pressures placed on coaches and since s**t flows downhill the players has always been enormous but I believe now it's gone way overboard. That being said I support both views stated above. On the one hand it would have been better to reprimand him away from the TV lights. But on the other hand you can bet Mr Hutson will remember that play for ever because of the intensity of the moment. -

Oregon Projected to Flip 2023 WR from Oklahoma?
Duck 1972 replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Our defense is stacked. We are looking good for the people we want on defense. Remember signing day isn't until Dec. We got plenty time. -
After losing McClendon who I was hoping would be retained I didn't think there was any other coach who could compare. I was wrong. Recruiting ✔. Now the final test is how he coaches his room. Any incite about how he coaches his room up?

And now with Cota it gives us 2 WR with years of experience to help our young studs pick up the intricacies of the position to make us even more potent. -
Athlon Sports Says Utah Will Be 2022 Pac-12 Champions?
Duck 1972 replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
As long as we stay relatively healthy I do see us winning the PAC. Last year we peaked to soon by beating tOSU. Then the injuries hit us harder than normal. Then the rest of the season was underwhelming and at times just disappointing. That I believe left this team with a sour taste. Then you add in better players then what left with better and more inspiring coaching and you have a decidedly better outcome predicted. I believe to much is being made about the inexperience of the coaches. Bah humbug. I believe to much is being made about the new QB. He has 3 years experience in the toughest league. Our RB room is better with all types of runners. Our WR are taller and faster. Our OL will be one of the best the Ducks have ever seen. We will have a much better offensive scheme. We have one of the best defensive minds to run our stacked defense with 5* talent everywhere. We are so deep and talented with experience in every position. Our Special Teams will be measurably better. So where am I wrong in this analysis? -
It's all about the dinero. IMHO Just because you don't play all the teams in your league doesn't lessen the title. If you win your in. Rivalries are what makes CFB special they have to be preserved. Playing 8 league games rather than 9 means you are not pushed hard for all season long and can have a fresher team at the end. I do believe that it's been one of the main reasons why the SEC is the top league and helps them in the post season. It would help us more than the changing of who plays in the title game. The problem is the TV people won't let us do that. Deniro matters more than common sense. Oh and the B10 staying at 9 means we won't either. Sure wish we would stop letting them dictate to us like we are their baby brother rather than equals. But again dinero trumps every other thing. Our friend Jon Joesph has pointed all these things out numerous times and I agree with him we should expand our league into Texas with it's TV rich implications. Then maybe we would have more of a bargaining chip with the money matters more people.

Yahoo way to end the season and start playoffs on a good foot. -
A foghorn is perfect foghorns scare birds away. It would be great to blast it after any points scored and defensive takeaways. It should become our next fashion along with the 3rd quarterback "Shake" and the pushup Duck.

Read this article also. Wow maybe that's why we haven't been as successful as other conferences.
