The States Lanning Has Prioritized for Recruiting
I believe it's the toughest area to go into to recruit. You've got tOSU, Texas, ND, OK, Mich, Penn State, and Wisc, all top tier recruiters. Then you have up and comers like MSU, Neb, Cincinnati, the rest of the B10 and 12, and the South. Not "that" big of an area.

Damon David a Duck...Again!
That's the way I believe it is. The competition is going to be fierce in fall camp. Glad to have you back young man. Now go give it your all, maximize your potential, and show what kind of player and especially man you are.

Where Oregon is With Jaden Rashada
I believe we sign 4* Johnson out of Kansas after this weekend.

Oregon Won’t Become Georgia Overnight
I have to believe that the fact of having a first time HC and OC and the possible hiccups won't cost us any games due to the fact we have a lot of talent that is also very experienced, depth especially on the lines which other first time coaches didn't have, a bad taste in the players mouth from the implosion last year and an enthusiastic staff and players who feel FB is fun again. When you know you can play with anybody in the country, last year at tOSU, and win, then add in emotional motivation from the end of last season with the inspiration of having new coaching and joy of playing, and you've got a winning combination. Watch out Georgia, he we come.

I predict we will ink a couple more after this weekend. Especially by the QB out of Kansas.

Oregon Leads Pac-12 in Phil Steele All-Conference Selections
At least they think we have more talent than USC, UW, and Utah.

Ducks Should Be Helped by NCAA Scholarship Rule Change
We are at 86 right now so we are going to have to lose 1 player after fall camp. You can't go over it as was pointed out by Mr. Fishduck. In the past their was a limit based on players that signed with you for 4 years. If they left you couldn't add a new player/s to keep at 85, until the 4 yrs were over. A complicated mess as only our esteemed NCAA could put together. As I understand it means you can sign new guys to see if they can take or fill spots of attrition to the portal to stay at 85.

Oregon Duck Hall of Fame Inductees 2022
How about that 2010 squad. The closest one to get us that "shinning city on the hill." That's why I am so stoked for the coming season. To see if 22 is the year we grab it. We have the talent, we have the experience, we have the depth especially in both lines, and we have a favorable schedule. The only thing we don't have is an experienced head coach and OC. I guess I'm going to have to put on my green and yellow sun glasses. I just don't think it will cost us any games. The enthusiasm is palpable. This is an emotional game. You play better when u know your good and are having fun. That's magical. That's why I believe we are going to play in PO this year and their are pundits that also see it happening.

5-Star Recruits Could 'Quack' Soon?
Yessir I don't remember this much talent, visiting this soon. Gives us an advantage. More time to get them to come to a game at Autzen. The closer of the deal. You're a Duck, Baby. Welcome to the flock. Now let's fly high and have some fun.

How Oregon RB Room Stacks Up As Recruits
We're not even talking about our newest Fr. RB James, who we flipped from Georgia. He could come in and be able to make waves.

Ducks Defensive Line for 2022
The trenches on both sides of the ball is what Oregon's new coaching staff has as an advantage over other first time staff's. We are loaded. CFB publication just posted that along with the idea that we will go 11 and 1. The 1 being probably UGA. They think we will win the Pac and get into the PO. They also think we got a great schedule by playing our toughest games at home. So it's not just us homers who think we will be very good.

Oregon in the Driver's Seat for Dante Moore
I don't care if it's 5* Rashada, 5* Moore, or 4+ Johnson. One of them is going to be a Duck and join the flock. Who ever it is, they will want to be here, and not because of the money. I believe that will be a better person and QB to join the ranks along side Harrington, Mariota, and Herbert.

Oregon Won’t Become Georgia Overnight
We have a good chance to be special this year. I believe the players will want to bad after what happened last year. Yes there will be some hiccups along the way but I believe this team will overcome them with ease. I will be pleased to watch them dominate the Pac and win it and win a NY6 bowl game. They will open the door to a possible PO game. I don't remember a time when that wasn't the goal. Get in and anything is possible. That will start us on the path. The future is so bright we are going to have to wear our green and yellow sun glasses all the time until we climb the mountain and slay the dragon. It's going to happen, when no one knows! But it can't not happen. We've been to close for the FB gods to not let everything break our way one time.

All-Bang-the-Drum Team for Pac-12
I'm going with DJ. If DL believes he can be one of the best in the country, I guess I will too. My second choice is Chase Cota. I like the nickname Maehl 2.0

'High on Cristobal? This Hype is LAUGHABLE...'
I know no one wants to hear this. But MC is going to do fine in Miami. He works to hard to not be. I'm one of those people who doesn't necessarily hate the idea that he had of dominance of both lines of scrimmage and running the ball to set up explosive plays. Not turning the ball over by taking to many chances. Imho this is what we saw up until half way through 2021. Then we lost CJ Verdel and things became tougher. Constant changes to coordinaters didn't help the players. QBs lost confidence. Every thing seemed to tighten up. Then in 22, after the biggest ooc win, everything seemed to fall apart. An unexpected amount of season limiting and ending injuries occurred. We lost over 11 starters towards the end of the season. Our QB couldn't hit the broadside of a barn past 20 yards. For the first time in my memory we had fans booing in Autzen. It seems that MC lost himself and the team. Everything became tense and uninspiring Thus the Utah beat downs. I don't know if the same thing will happen in Miami, but I doubt it will. I'm not sad he's gone. I don't believe anyone could have lasted after the bitter taste it left in everyone's mouth. Now a fresh start is coming, the excitement is back, and the team feels FB is fun again. Now it's time to put it all together with the talent he left us and go get us a natty. Go Ducks Fly High!

Head T&F Coach Robert Johnson Comments on NCAA Championships
Haven't been as big a fan since Dellinger left. For some reason it's not the same. Seems rather than a team it's mostly a couple of studs.
-
Devon Allen…3rd Fastest Time in History!
Wow. Thinking back didn't we lose him and our best DB in 2014 when we played tOSU for the natty
-
DB's Have Powledge Power
The injuries to a B Williams and then CJ Verdel were devastating losses for the Ducks season last year. Hopefully this year will not repeat itself, where we lose two of our best players on both offense and defense. If that weren't to plague the Ducks this coming year, I believe the sky's the limit for this squad.

Punter Tom Snee is BACK!
Daymond David is still listed on the roster. I thought he was in the portal.

Top College Football Teams with Best Winning Percentage vs. Top 25 Teams Since 2010
If there is a bias in the top 25 rankings then this metric is somewhat meaningless. Anyway the main shock was seeing Stanford right above us. Also only 1 B1O and 2 SEC teams.
