Lee Corso to Retire After Week One
Absolutely. If Duck wasn't a Duck to the core, He'd be a great co-host, I'd shove McAfee out and replace him with Duck in a minute.

Softball: No.5 Ducks Blitz No.6 UCLA 3-1
This game had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, and none more so then when Lombardi took Grein out I could understand it, but over the years her pitching moves haven't always worked. But this one did. When Sokolsky whiffed the two Bruins to end the 6th, I shouted as loud as I have during any football game!

He does do that.

Bruins Run-Rule Oregon 14-4
Just like in the softball game, the Ducks won a close game 1. Not only close, but a pitcher's duel. The Bruins will want to blow game 2 up. If Oregon can keep control early, the energy will drain from UCLA.

Softball: Bruins Run Rule the Ducks, 8-0
Game 2 in both baseball and softball will be huge tests, the Ducks won close games to start both series. UCLA will be busting at the seams to start hot. If the Ducks can keep the lid on from the start, the Bruins could burn themselves out.

Softball: No.5 Ducks Blitz No.6 UCLA 3-1
Wow, the Jane was rockin' and the Ducks won the pitcher's duel. The former Bruin analyst kept saying that it wouldn't end 1-0. She was right!

Baseball not 'a game of coming back' - Tripod The team that scores the first run of the game ends up winning the game close to 70% - actually 68.9% - of the time. This is a common cliché that actually is often true

Men's Basketball: Penn State Center Transfers to Oregon
North Carolina is interesting, they are a basketball blueblood, I don't think that hiring Belichick is going to offset the money the football team will offer compared to what other schools will offer to a coveted player. I really don't understand UNC's or Belichick's plan here.

Men's Basketball: Penn State Center Transfers to Oregon
Yep. Gat & his Gators will be fine, on the basketball court and the football field. Despite what UW thinks, Uncle Phil's $$$ hasn't delivered a Natty to the football team, and 2017 will probably be as close as the basketball team gets to another Final Four. Money can't buy a championship, but you don't have a chance with nickels and dimes.

Oregon's Grayson Grinsell Shuts Down No. 10 UCLA 2-1!
Yes, small ball is important. Runners on 2nd and 3rd is the Red Zone, have to get those in, especially with less than 2 outs.

Men's Basketball: Oregon is in Play for the Player They Really Need
He's not Cooper Flagg. Sarr is an athletic 6-6 wing who is still growing into his frame but flashes big time upside ability. Needs to polish up his shooting form and become a better 3pth shooter. Gets good elevation on his jumper and is a capable 3pt shooter but doesn’t always put good rotation on the ball and is not yet a knockdown shooter. Excels in the open court and getting downhill to the basket. Has a quick first step and is aggressive going to the rim. Can play above the rim, score through contact and also shows good passing vision on his drives to the hoop. Has a lot of talent and ability but is still unrefined. Can be a bit wild and careless with the ball. Plays decent defense but reaches too often and needs to be more disciplined, patient and move his feet better.

Oregon Spring Sports Surprise B1G Opponents
And I ask, what criteria has him above Lanning? He had a good run as OC at 'bama, 35-29 at UW, and now at Texas, not close to Lanning, much less better.

Oregon Spring Sports Surprise B1G Opponents
Who's No.1 on the list of coaches without a Natty? I know I wouldn't trade Lanning for him. Kelly, Franklin, Riley, Freeman, DeBoer?

Dan Lanning "Haunted" By Rose Bowl
Th "March Madness" showed it truly is not "Mad" at all. 4 No.1's in the Final 4 showed what ranking & seeding can deliver. Teams are awarded a conference championship and a place in the 64 via a CCG win, but not guaranteed seeding, they could be a No.12 The format certainly didn't know that Oregon would end up in the No.1 spot. They may have drawn up some brackets and seen just what the No.1 was walking into. But even then, save for Joey Harrington, people liked the wait for Oregon over playing a game, a potential loss. Talk about hindsight being 20/20.
