  1. Think B1G or go home! In the last 7 games OBD swept the much respected Rodents from Corvallis, took 2 of 3 @ Michigan State. They lost one, to I hope is the best pitcher in the conference, and respect to him, it was wind- aided. So now, Ducks, don't slip up against St Mary's, and get for the pups this weekend, a slap on the snout with a rolled up newspaper---or maybe a couple of homers, from the national leader...or the all-time career leader in Oregon...and don't forget Lurch on Sunday!
  2. Aside from the Tournament being in Purdue, and not The Jane...it looks good for Oregon to be the No.1 Seed.
  3. Not for nothing, Michigan beat Ohio State, 23-1, not sure how the Run Rule works in baseball, but the game was called after 7 innings. After losing 4 in a row to the Ducks, the Rodents went to Hawaii, where they've won the first 2. The Huskies took the first two from 1st place Washington, before the Hawkeyes avoided the sweep by taking game 3. Next week, Oregon State at Iowa.
  4. No. 6 Oregon escapes with series win over Michigan State - Daily Emerald DAILYEMERALD.COM It didn’t matter if they won big, close, clean, ugly or a combination of the four. What mattered was that the Ducks needed to leave...
  5. I agree, and the scoreboard says Natty for Day in 2024. But he's still a coach that wins, and loses, with huge talent edge...and last year, a great OC. Let's see what the Day brings next season.
  6. Because of this game, Finebaum doesn't suggest, but declares, that both teams are viable for the CFP with 9 wins. Speaking on The Paul Finebaum Show, the veteran analyst highlighted the season-opening clash between Ohio State and Texas as a pivotal moment. “Take Ohio State or Texas. Both of those could get in with nine [wins] because they play each other to start the year,” Finebaum stated, suggesting that an early loss won’t doom either team’s playoff chances due to the strength—or relative weakness—of their remaining schedules.
  7. After 7 years, and a move to the B1G, Oregon softball wins the championship again, Today's game had a bit of everything. Not really the time when you want to see cracks in the star pitcher's game, but hopefully they'll be sealed by tournament time. Yep, this Oregon team is fast, and aggressive, if one of the Luchar's get to 1st, it's only a matter of time and they'll be on 2nd. They hit the long ball too.
  8. Ducks got the series win with "Lurch" Jason Reitz on the mound. He had another great game, as did the relievers who gave up NOTHING!
  9. The Ducks look to wrap up the regular season at The Jane with a win! Senior Day for Kai & Kedre Luschar, Abby Mulvey, Staci Chambers, Dezianna Patmon & Paige Sinicki.
  10. No. 3 Oregon wins 14-0 over Michigan State; clinches share of Big Ten - Daily Emerald DAILYEMERALD.COM There are no must-win games in No. 3 Oregon’s (46-6, 18-3 Big Ten) regular season, but there are games in which the Ducks...
  11. Couldn't agree more. Yesterday, Michigan State kind of was the exception that proves the rule. Congrats to them for the win. But Sinicki isn't going to bobble a grounder like that again, and in the 6th, Oregon gets the bases loaded, but doesn't score? It looks like Lombardi handled it perfectly, you're going to lose sometimes, and the response was expected and delivered.
  12. Now that's more like it. 2 home runs for Neville, increasing his lead. Walsh didn't get a stolen base, but did get a home run. Drew Smith has been the consistent so far this series. More credit again to Dzierwa yesterday.
  13. More popular? Absolutely. Better? Doesn't equate. Skill sets, Sabrina>Caitlyn. Charter flights Caitlyn>Sabrina
  14. At some point will the weight of USuC's talent overcome Riley's inexorable pursuit of mediocrity?
  15. Very uncharacteristic game for the Ducks, had the bases loaded in the 6th, no outs, couldn't score.
  16. Due to injuries, the lineup was changed, and we had some players not in their usual position, hence the three errors today. But Our Beloved Ducks overcame them!
  17. SIDEARM Integrations GODUCKS.COM The Oregon softball team can clinch a share of the conference title Saturday, after being unable to do so Friday.
  18. Not sure what's going on with Michigan State today, but with the Ducks coming to bat in the 2nd, it's 6-0, Spartans.
  19. No doubt Sabrina is the GOAT, Husky fans tried to say it was Plum, who had the all-time scoring record before Clark. Sabrina could have skipped going for triple doubles and led in scoring, but the 3 D translates into more of a team player, and her team was loaded, the best Duck team ever.
  20. SIDEARM Integrations GODUCKS.COM Kedre Luschar has had a breakout senior season, but the seeds for her success were planted long ago.
  21. Very true. Is this L worse than losing at home to Portland? No. Grinsell pitched a great game, and I sure didn't understand the line-up change, has Waz heard, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"? Very good chance that Duck's 2 and 3 pitchers are better than State's 2 and 3 pitchers, or they wouldn't be in 10th place.
