  1. It's not bad when 13-1, unanimous No.1 for longer than any other team during the season, B1G Champion is a disappointing season.
  2. Go B1G or Go home. SEC just couldn't compete with the B1G this season. I don't think Notre Dame will be able to either. Murphy's Law hit OBD B1G in the Rose Bowl, Ducks will have another "Opportunity" next season!
  3. I seriously could not have watched Notre Dame and Texas.
  4. Tales From The Pit: Oregon 56 - #1 UCLA 51 | FishDuck FISHDUCK.COM Josh White reviews a glorious game from Oregon Basketball that contains many tales…
  5. Okay! 4th & goal for Texas turns into a TD for osu2!
  6. So, Howard just falls down when he runs naturally.
  7. Apparently, John Wooden hated playing in "The Pit", but Bill Walton loved it, because of what you mentioned. The shaking scoreboard overhead, the baskets moving. The claustrophobia inducing crowd. The Lone Ranger. "25 Or 6 to 4" While the other team was warming up, the Ducks stood at midcourt and stared. There was nothing like a game at Mac. I can still smell the popcorn.
  8. I'm almost positive it's not. Oregon's decision makers are usually spot on. But their decision to move from "The Pit" to an arena was seriously off the mark. A modernized Mac Court would have been incredible. MKA is devoid of any innovation at all. The floor looks better now, but that's a very low bar.
  9. Who were those guys in the green jerseys that played osu2 last week?
  10. A very confusing team. Except for the Illinois game, where everything went wrong, a home game, the defense has been a constant. They literally shot twice as well in the 2nd half against osu2, 58% , than in the 1st half, 29%. They've talked about the slow starts. That could be what this team really improves later in the season.
  11. Carson Beck's portal time short-lived as QB commits to Miami - ESPN WWW.ESPN.COM Carson Beck has committed to Miami, just 24 hours after the former Georgia quarterback hit the transfer portal.
  12. That's better, 14-7, and if Ohio State can start the 2nd half with a TD, this could be alright.
  13. Yeah, I don't like seeing Texas being competitive.
  14. Looking forward to seeing Ohio State next Season in the B1G CCG, will OBD want to win?
  15. Desmond, Saban, McAfee all picked Ohio State, Corso picked Texas!
  16. I can certainly understand that sentiment, I still have it for Texas & Notre Dame. I go Ohio State here because I think they are significantly better than either Texas or Notre Dame, and if No.1 Oregon isn't going to win the championship, I don't want a lesser team to get it.
  17. Again, with the "can". Yes, Texas can beat Ohio State. I can win the next Powerball. Will I win the next Powerball? I actually think my chances are just about as likely as Texas is to beat Ohio State.
  18. Penn State, due to the severely flawed Playoff format found itself in a position it didn't deserve. I thought they'd win, but I really just wanted a B1G Final. Ohio State would have steamrolled Penn State. Are Penn State fans as upset by Franklin as Ohio State's "lunatic fringe" is with Day. It doesn't seem like it, and that's fine, him staying and Riley still at USC works out fine for OBD.
  19. You won't hear this from Altman. Following the game, Cronin publicly berated his team and questioned its toughness. "Obviously, they shot the ball well," Cronin said. "But we're soft. We're too soft to play hard enough. Even in the [crucial moments], you can't get a rebound. ... So don't tell me you want to win. Just don't tell you want to win. I mean, we're soft. To be fair, they have a unique skill set. But we're soft."
  20. We'll see how "competitive" they are on Sep.20. As for "stepping up". Please?
  21. Basic scheming shows that not having to deal with Stewart stretching the field took away a lot of what Tez could do so well. It's also true that when a team loses it will make more adjustments than will the team that won. Not having Stewart wasn't something Ohio State did, but Chip and the offense "opened the playbook" a lot more than it was in the first game.
