  1. They sure would! If Sarr is at all comparable to Ant-Man, I don't understand how, why, Duke or Kentucky haven't wrapped him up. If the Ducks had had a player that could get to the rim like he can last season...
  2. Okay, looks like Women's Golf is not big in the B1G.
  3. This is a lock. As for my Top 10: 1. Ohio State 2. Clemson 3. Texas 4. Oregon 5. Georgia 6.Penn. State 7.Notre Dame 8. LSU 9. South Carolina 10. Alabama 11. Arizona State
  4. Absolutely! I hated it back when Clemson was getting to the Championship. Yes, they won. But they got there after playing an ACC schedule! It's not that much tougher in the ACC now.
  5. A good sign I think. I read a blurb the other day that a player had committed to 3 different schools before landing finally, perhaps at Ole Miss. Commits are always good, but in the environment now, mean far less than they ever did.
  6. This is what the NCAA does now? After Michigan self imposes "penalties" on Moore, after Harbaugh is gone, and Stalion is gone? They could impose additional penalties. Should teams watch out if any of their players have tattoo's?
  7. Very impressive. Isiah ends up going to Indiana, and he should have been on the Dream Team. It was Mary Thomas who ultimately made the decision. She called a press conference and announced, “My son has made his decision. He’s going to Indiana University.” Isiah remembers the moment with humor: “I wasn’t even smiling. My head was down. It was totally her decision.” The rest is history. Thomas led Indiana to a national championship and launched his path to the NBA Hall of Fame. But it all started with a mother who, in the midst of poverty, showed that some things—like her son’s future—are simply not for sale.
  8. This list of course is much more comprehensive than the "Way Early" predictions. Where Oregon Football stands in Joel Klatt's post-spring top 25 DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM The Oregon Ducks are ranked as one of the top team in the nation according to Joel Klatt's post-spring top-25 rankings.
  9. Yeah, it's a low bar, but 6:00 in the morning won't happen.
  10. So far, Beavis won the first 2 games in Hawaii, 11-4, 3-2. Hawaii won game 3, 5-0, game 4 is tonight.
  11. Think B1G or go home! In the last 7 games OBD swept the much respected Rodents from Corvallis, took 2 of 3 @ Michigan State. They lost one, to I hope is the best pitcher in the conference, and respect to him, it was wind- aided. So now, Ducks, don't slip up against St Mary's, and get for the pups this weekend, a slap on the snout with a rolled up newspaper---or maybe a couple of homers, from the national leader...or the all-time career leader in Oregon...and don't forget Lurch on Sunday!
  12. Aside from the Tournament being in Purdue, and not The Jane...it looks good for Oregon to be the No.1 Seed.
  13. Not for nothing, Michigan beat Ohio State, 23-1, not sure how the Run Rule works in baseball, but the game was called after 7 innings. After losing 4 in a row to the Ducks, the Rodents went to Hawaii, where they've won the first 2. The Huskies took the first two from 1st place Washington, before the Hawkeyes avoided the sweep by taking game 3. Next week, Oregon State at Iowa.
  14. No. 6 Oregon escapes with series win over Michigan State - Daily Emerald DAILYEMERALD.COM It didn’t matter if they won big, close, clean, ugly or a combination of the four. What mattered was that the Ducks needed to leave...
  15. I agree, and the scoreboard says Natty for Day in 2024. But he's still a coach that wins, and loses, with huge talent edge...and last year, a great OC. Let's see what the Day brings next season.
  16. Because of this game, Finebaum doesn't suggest, but declares, that both teams are viable for the CFP with 9 wins. Speaking on The Paul Finebaum Show, the veteran analyst highlighted the season-opening clash between Ohio State and Texas as a pivotal moment. “Take Ohio State or Texas. Both of those could get in with nine [wins] because they play each other to start the year,” Finebaum stated, suggesting that an early loss won’t doom either team’s playoff chances due to the strength—or relative weakness—of their remaining schedules.
