  1. OK...trash-talking is one thing, but the final word by Hout?
  2. As I go over the Spring Game, (and there will be a couple more analyses coming up this summer) one thing I noted is how badly the safeties got burned and how often. Bridges had a pick-six because the pass was thrown behind the receiver, not because of the coverage. However, it was an incredible acrobatic catch to pull it in and stay on his feet. Bennett Williams was trailing a ton of plays or simply could not stop some TDs. I am going to hope that it is because of the offense exploding due to matchups and schemes. But the experience in the defensive backfield is comforting, and gives me hope for the fall. Williams in a showdown with a Buckeye Running Back... 3. Seven new transfer QBs in the Pac-12? Gee, I wonder if we have a trend? Canzano: Pac-12 transfer QBs jockey for position WWW.JOHNCANZANO.COM Some Sunday musings...
  4. Hopkins over at ScoopDuck is certain he is not coming to Oregon...but other favorable 2023 QB options are still available for the Ducks. He thinks Rashada will be a Gator...
  5. "It was a disappointing weekend for our men, definitely a tough way to end the season but it's something we'll look at, and always look at win or lose, as we evaluate the year. I mentioned taking our lumps but this weekend is not the expectation and we'll bounce back. We had several first timers on both sides, men and women, in terms of competing at the NCAA Championships so some of those things take time to figure out." "Everyone that qualifies for the national meet wants to do well when they get here, and sometimes you have a bad race or a bad weekend at the worst time, or sometimes it's just an off day. Now you go back and figure out what didn't work this time so that it's better the next time." "I can't thank the fans enough for showing up like they did this weekend to support the meet and all the team and athletes. This was definitely a truer experience of Hayward Magic compared to last year's meet, and I'm glad that our team got to feel that."
  6. Bottom left is Snee, and he is listed now on the fall roster right here!

  8. As nations...none of us wear halos. Some efforts at being "woke" has some public benefit, while some other "woke" efforts might be objectionable. Bottom line....let's not go there on this site! Drives me crazy trying to figure it all out!
  9. He was a 3-Star with Rivals, and while Oregon offered a scholarship....my understanding is that he was a back-up alternative to the Ducks major targets. Not a lot of big programs there in his offer list... Aidan Chiles, 2023 Dual-threat quarterback - Rivals.com N.RIVALS.COM The definitive source for all Rivals news.
  10. This means more to me than you know. The biggest part that makes it a success, is the fact that you and so many others have been a great sport when they make a mistake. And as you saw recently, I am not immune to that either. And a big difference is that we do it privately and it is not front and center to destroy the atmosphere that we have here. Thank you.
  11. Thanks for posting this! We'll be OK, as now you truly look at it year-to-year.
  12. Well, you were higher on him than I was when the transfer was announced. I really thought it was a waste of a scholarship, and it goes to show how wrong I can be at times!
  13. I think your selection and the one from the article are super, as they both could be huge. But considering how young the WR room is…Chase Cota could be THE clutch player needed on the big 3rd and 8 plays. I was completely impressed and blown away by his spring game performance. Even if he is not open, he shows the ability to come down with the catch regardless. With the loss of Verdell and Dye—coupled with a new quarterback, this is the guy who could make it all happen in the early part of the season while the rest of the receiver room becomes accustomed to the bright lights.
  14. That reminded me of a 2012 game with Mariota at Arizona State, when the 'Devils thought they had a decent chance, and Oregon blitzed them something like 35-6 before it was even halftime. The FishDuck photographer caught this fan photo... Good times!
  15. Hello My FishDuck Friends, We allow mild bad words, (butt, hell) and others that are not completely blatant such as a$$, or sh*t, but we don’t want any reference at all the “F” bomb. We had three examples today of a “new low-bar” coming into play, and thank goodness a moderator, ICamel, caught them. Only problem is…one of the offenders was ME! One made obvious reference to the "F" word, and in other threads people were writing “WTF” and others were quoting it, (we don't want to use that acronym anymore) and the worst mistake was made by yours-truly, as I posted a John Belushi Video from Animal House where he actually said the “F” word out loud! We are all adults here, and it is not like we can't handle it, but it quickly can descend into what is on other sites, and I don't want to set any new "low-bars" with language. As I tell everyone…none of us wear halos here. We make a mistake, learn from it and move on. Our objective is to refrain from any “F” word reference. (Use WTH instead) Not a warning to anyone or anything—just a reminder is all. And tell that Frickin owner of the site to clean up his own mouth! I am so embarrassed. I broke my own rules…AGAIN. And that is why I always give the good people here slack when they mess-up, because I need you to extend it to me as well. I love this community, and we are learning together as we create something unique. And I do love all your posts—keep ’em coming! My thanks, Charles Just when I thought I knew what I was doing...
  16. I so want Cam McCormick to have a great year. When I see in the article he is a ...."seventh year senior,"...
  17. Knock me over with a Duck-Feather....this is the guy who was taken out of the lineup late in the season because he could not hit a low curve ball? EUGENE –Oregon first baseman Jacob Walsh has been named to the Collegiate Baseball 2022 Freshmen All-America Team, the magazine announced today.
