The youth in the receiving corps leaves me salivating over what might be. What I saw in the second half has me walking away from this season somewhat content and very hopeful. Oregon Shows Makings of a Terrifying Receiving Corps in Bowl Defeat by Erik Skopil of Duck Territory 247

It's time. This offense isn't going to produce. Might as well pull AB. The guy can't throw. Running the ball isn't going to win this game. -

Prediction Contest for the Alamo Bowl!

Meant for entertainment. Glad I helped . Okie situation is a lot like the Ducks. A ton of missing pieces. This could go any direction and prediction is almost impossible. -

I have been watching SC fans talk like Riley is the second coming of Pete. Makes me curious to ask, hope or false hope? What does the record show? Riley was a first time head coach of a blue blood school, the Sooners. The product on the field undoubtedly got worse year to year. SC fan fails to recognize this. Riley's first couple years, recruiting at Okie was around 5th in the nation. The past couple cycles recruiting is in the mid teens. SC fan is going to be disappointed as the Ducks continue to ascend to elite status. Don't know what you said but I am good.

Now that you mention it. Any combined under 24 would be a success for Lanning. Mich 14 UGA 10.

When a sports team wins a world/national championship there are parades and celebrations. Sometimes there are act of violence, property damage and arson. Wear team colors to the opposing teams stadium and... When a war or battle is won between nations/tribes there are parades and celebrations. Sometimes there are acts of... Sports is a microcosm, in many ways, of our society and culture today. It shows the tribalism and maturity, or lack of, at a base level. Scary thought in many ways. HTBD commented: "Personality change is difficult. Takes self awareness, self examination, self discipline and control." This usually requires motivating factors such as pain and suffering, yet not always. If you are so sucked up over AB or MC that your wife has taken the children and went to the in-laws, you might want to look at that. I come out of troubled youth, young adult life was even worse with everything you can imagine that comes with it. 9th grade education, jails, streets... you get the Idea. At 26 I turned and started walking the other direction. Success and failures along the way. At 52 I have a wonderful wife, my own home, 2 newer vehicles in the drive way and a six fig income. Most important is I am now a value to my family and community. This is sports and it is vitally important to a healthy community. OBDF has found that balance and maturity of being a healthy and enjoyable place to be a fanatic of OBD. This is valuable and should be protected. We all should be mindful, you never know who is watching.

I would love to root for Mich but Lanning coaches UGA. Cincinnati, I suspect, is going to get their hats handed to them.

Didn't he invent the Turduckin! I know he had the 8 legged turkeys. What a great man. We were blessed.

Coach Lanning Beating Mario at Recruiting ALREADY

Oregon is the better job. Many try to spin UO as a step stone school. Truth is that UO makes coaches. It's time they get back to making football players. MC got his school and his contract. This will be his pinnacle of achievement. All down hill from there. -
Transfer Portal Statistics: 75% Have NO HOME?
Log Haulin replied to jimmer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Be interesting to see how many players are negatively impacted by portal. These are kids making life decisions that will affect their whole life. Except for a few family and friends, they are making these decisions alone. College football is big business and many will do whats best for the almighty dollar. Coaches have hired guns to negotiate on their behalf. These kids do not, many will learn hard lessons as this machine chews them up. College football is no longer your Grandfathers football. Good luck to these young adults. They are adults and can make adult decisions, but they will also reap the benefits or consequences alone. Good luck young man.
