Lanning makes a little under 2 mil right now. Could you get this guy 4.5 to 5 mil for a couple years before an extention is offered depending on results. Makes Lanning a test drive paid for by Miami. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me.

This is Oregon settling. Oregon has the best facilities in the country, very deep pockets and probably top 5 in name recognition. Settling for middle of the road coaches is insulting. It's time for the Ducks to step up or fall by the wayside. If this is the best the Ducks can do then I for one, needs to reevaluate who I believe the Ducks are. How disappointing this will be.

Better IMO

Oregon has solidified its reputation as a top notch college football program. Part of MC's recruiting success was due to Oregon's success and commitment to creating an elite environment for student athletes. The praise heaped on Mario was deserved but let's not lose sight of the fact that UO as an organization had a ton to do with that. Welcome to the flock young man.
