  1. Nice halftime adjustments. MC should hire you as a consultant. Well done
  2. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/32848033/former-carolina-panthers-offensive-coordinator-joe-brady-wants-remain-nfl-already-heard-teams-sources-say%3fplatform=amp Looks like Brady wants to stay in the league. But who knows.
  3. ...With a losing record
  4. The recruits he brought in for the 2022 cycle, If I remember right, is 7 kids. I believe five of them are 5* and two of them are 4*. He is ranked 8th in the country for the 2022 cycle.
  5. I will give it an A. From what I saw with the Bulldogs this year the man can lock down opponents. Recruiting is sales, a good salesman can sell anywhere any time. Oregon is a top product. Going to come down to staff. Shouldn't be a problem at Oregon. Oregon is a place where assistant coaches go to get a promotion. Get 5 years out of Lanning and I am happy with that.
  6. Just with the current defensive roster, with this mans guidance, the Ducks are going to dominate the Pac 12. By year two the rest of the pac might not see the red zone let alone the endzone.
  7. Did he say Scott Cochran moved on from Georgia? Lanning need to get that dude in Eugene.
  8. It is turning College Football into a dirty business. Love the college game but money is corrupting it more each year. It's one of the reasons I stopped watching the NFL. But with any great product people want come huge stacks of cash. Hope Lanning is hugely successful as a head coach and stays at Oregon for many years.
  9. Lanning's first action should be to block all of Zano's calls.

  11. This feels like the hire that will catapult Oregon back into the international spotlight. The Broyals speech shows he is a man with humility and tremendous drive. I am excited to watch this man take his first steep as head coach. Could someone let him know that he doesn't need to call timeout before play starts if the opponent is not ready. That would be a huge upgrade from the last guy.
  12. Especially Lanning
  13. Poach Cochran please.
  14. Well done. Looking forward to introductions. There is a lot of talent on this Oregon Defense.
  15. I am learning a ton about different guys because of this. Really is fun process this time around.
  16. Mullen took Florida from 10+ wins to 5 wins this year. Why an how? IDK. Not a good look though. Miss state he lead to 6-8 wins a year. Meh... I would pass
  17. My kid is a huge Rams fan. The kid knows everything there is to know about Rams.
  18. In the wake of how injury hamstrung (pun intended) the Ducks this year, I think whoever is is hired needs to take great care when hiring a new strength coach. If it is Lanning can he poach Scott Cochran? This dudes resume is amazing. 6 championships in all. He has worked for LSU, Bama, Georgia and the New Orleans Hornets. He also coaches special teams. Might be a long shot but would make a significant difference in the health of our Ducks.
  19. I was joking with the Hillsboro thing. Sorry!
  20. True. Moorhead isn't even being considered. Like Kelly as a great offensive mind then, Lanning might be even better on the other side of the ball. In house or not the numbers Lanning put up are undeniably great. Lanning also come with very high praise from his peers.
  21. If thats the standard, Chip Kelly would have never been Coach.
  22. Rattler is going to USC? Pretty sure Riley has already dropped a dime on him.
  23. My dad was Tin Can Navy during Vietnam. USS Marshall. I moved him in with me last April due to late stage vascular dementia. He's pretty gonzo but still finds joy in football and basketball. Going to put the game on for him to enjoy. Go Navy!
  24. Most great recruits are looking for exposure and getting into the League. Oregon is in the middle of the Pac-12 over the past 5 years when it comes to players getting drafted. That could rise dramatically with the level of recruiting the last few years. Bellotti doesn't get it done. Out of the 5 big conference championship games, Pac 12 viewership was 4th and it was the only one played that day. A fraction of other conferences. Bellotti will not bring national interest to the Ducks or the Pac. The idea of Bellotti as coach for 3 years is a death penalty in recruiting and exposure for Oregon. Just the two facts I pointed out puts Oregon at a disadvantage. The time is now to hire a magnanimous coach that can attract views and put kids into the league. I prefer Kiffin but there are others that fit also. Bellotti is not one of them.
  25. Add the 41 Bama put up and it comes out to 9.5 points per game. Those numbers are insane. If every team in the Pac would lose to half the teams in the SEC according to some posters, theoretically, nobody scores.
