Toooo many to count on both hands and toes.

Probably the most important thing as of now for recruiting is to make sure that the kids that want to enroll early get what they need to make it happen. It doesn’t matter as much for the rest that wanted to wait in the first place. I’m sure Dan will be all over this. This is not his first recruiting rodeo.

MC might be the worst in game coach that I have spent time watching and I watch a lot of football. The upgrade in this department alone will be huge. Player development has to be better, I was never impressed with most of the coaching staff. We probably lost our best coach to USC. I do like our D Line coach, his guys did seem to improve. The culture part confused me the most. So many things go into that overall broad definition that it’s hard to put your fingers on them. MC did some good things but they didn’t show up at game time. He also had some failures. Can’t see DL doing much of anything different, but we will see. We won’t know a whole lot till probably midway thru next season with a tougher than normal schedule. Going to Atlanta first thing out of the bag is idiotic at best. I didn’t see any way MC was going to win 9 games next year at best. Could start out 1 and 2 before the pack season even starts. Hope Dan can avoid that.

ESPN reports Banks to Texas. I posted a few days ago that Banks would probably flip to the Longhorns. I can’t blame him, because of NIL each scholarship offense lineman receives $50,000. Pretty sweet deal. Nil will destroy NCAA sports as we know it.

Any kind of offense we will get has to be better than what we had to endure under MCs attempt the last 4 years. Coming from Georgia I don’t think DL will be afraid to move the ball on offense. The best Defenses are the ones that are not on the field and not getting wore down at the end of the game and the end of the season. Our defense was wore down and broke down. Seems like most people on the forum wouldn’t of been happy unless we got Sabin. In my mind this is a great hire. I have had it up to my eyebrows watching the last several years with MC. Let’s give this kid a chance. Obviously a good teacher and he probably learned more and comprehended more in the Bama game than MC did in four years. Get behind this guy with support him. Duck Fans.

Just did some research, take it for what it’s worth. Atlanta J Chronical is rated the number one newspaper in Atlanta and is a paper that leans slightly left of center. As far as accuracy they are rated 5 out of a possible high of 6 for researching articles and facts. The number one read article the last few days is the report of Lanning leaving for Oregon. They also said that negotiations were being made as to Lanning coaching thru the CFP before leaving. I went to to several different web sites to put this little glob together. So if you can believe anything on the internet the report of Lanning leaving has some merit. No social media was used in this search. Not sure what it all means but it was interesting digging thru a bit of newspaper history in a town I was only in once, for a beer convention put on by Augie Busch III. What a 3 day party that was. Sorry Charles, No Craft Beers. Just Bud and Bud light.

Not sure Miami has ever played by the rules. But they have gotten away with shady stuff in the past.

This is mind numbing. I was looking at ABs total yards from scrimmage against Herberts and if ESPN has the stats correct AB would go ahead of Justin with only 200 more total yards from scrimmage in the Alamo bowl for their senior seasons. If this is correct it only proves that MC was a poorer coach than we thought and a poor utilizer of talent. Makes me me even more excited that MC is gone.

When Lane was with Saban did you all notice a turn around in his offensive style and look now how it’s evolved into an absolute wrecking ball. If we can get 3 to 4 years out of him it’s well worth the minor risk. Look at what’s happened to the Ducks since Belotti. Do we think we can keep anybody more than 4 years? PROBABLY NOT.
