  1. Sucks for the Beavs... At least they'll have one of the nicer stadiums in the MtnWest.
  2. Ducks 52-13 3 TOs 5 Sacks 392 Passing
  3. Joshua, I appreciate and agree with most all your thoughts. My main concern is injuries. I foresee an especially chippy season in the final year of the Pac-12. I do not put it past any of these opposing teams throwing cheap shots at our key players. Bo went down against UW last year on what I feel was a questionable shot to his lower body. It could happen again and it would not shock me. This team has a huge upside. But, it is only one key injury away from an average season. My prediction. Bo and Coach Lanning know this and will not put him in any overly compromised positions that could lead to it. Ducks win the final Pac12 championship having beaten Washington twice. Make the playoffs and lose in the first round to Kirby and the Dawgs 42-38.
  4. Utah has become one of my favorite programs... fans included. Prior to joining the Pac12 I found many of their fans to be obnoxious, entitled, and ignorant. But, the first couple years in the league seems to have had a humbling effect on them. They have now figured out how to be enthusiastic and proud without being belligerent and clueless. I now have respect for both the program and their fans in general. I think they will own the Big 12 and look forward to bowl/playoff game against them in the future. Go Utes!
  5. That $270mil is for the term of the deal. Payout is only $4-$6 million annually per school.
  6. Gary Campbell was a rock of stability and a great mentor and coach. He is the reason the Ducks are on this list. I see some similar traits in Coach Locklyn. Not as snazzy of a dresser... But, very focused on his boys in the RB room and wants them to succeed both on and off the field. I do not see the Ducks falling off this list under his watch.
  7. To me only the past 15 years should matter when creating lists like these. I do not have a problem with the Ducks being below any of the CURRENT B1G teams listed above them simply because we have not seen enough head to head matchups to truly know. But, there is no way USC should be at #3. My list would have the Ducks at #4, UW at #5, USC at #6
  8. Kind of funny that this article comes from a Trojan site.
  9. Cal may just drop sports all together. Ha!
  10. My thoughts to the 'T'. Well said!
  11. While I would have preferred the Pac have survived. I have said from early on that the UO needed to do what was right for the UO. I feel that is what they did. Time to make B1G football fun to watch!
  12. Really? 'Cause I feel like a kid whose parents are going through a nasty divorce and fighting over my custody.
  13. The Beaver fans love to bash us for pretty much everything. But, when it came to funding their baseball stadium they were more than willing to take a hand out from our biggest donor. If they want us to fill guilty for listening to a B1G offer how about a big "Your Welcome" to us and our Uncle Phil.
  14. I was thinking the same thing. He loves stirring the pot to get the Beavs in a hussy. But, then again he makes his money because of it.
  15. I feel it shows just how dire ESPN's finances are currently. There is a reason they are firing so many people and looking for partners to buy in. They NEED money and they need it now!
  16. If it is. There will be no less than six schools looking for better offers.
  17. I think Coach Sanders will eventually make them better... if he sticks around. I honestly feel the Pac(?) just got harder with CU leaving. One less "gimme" on the schedule.
  18. Seating capacity at Reser will be 35,548 for 2023. SJSU stadium is currently holds 30,456. But, completion of their renovation is hoped for in August. After that I would expect it will be greater than Reser's current capacity.
  19. I could easily see replacing CU with SDSU and remaining at 10.
  20. My guess... tOSU is coming to Autzen to make up for the game missed due to Covid (as article noted). That would fulfill the H&H agreement that got botched.
  21. You are right and I apologize for not stating some of my reasons for not wanting BSU in the PAC(?). Honestly, my reasons are quite petty. It pretty much comes down to me not liking the team, the fans, the stadium, or the landscape of Boise. I would not travel to Boise to watch our Ducks play. Same way I will never go back to Pullman. But, as others have pointed out, the institution itself is not on par with the other schools already within the Pac(?) academically. Their athletics will not help future media negotiations. To me they just don't seem to as good of a fit as SDSU, SMU, UNLV, or even Hawaii. But, that's just my opinion.
  22. I was stuck in a vehicle with my brother (a beaver) all day yesterday. He basically is saying the exact same spew. Two close losses have given both our rivals lots of energy, hope, and delusion. Coach Lanning needs to remind them who has owned the PNW the last couple decades and show them it is not about to change.
