  1. Not familiar with this guy, but watched this recently and this guy is definitely an incredible athlete. This guy can ski EVERYTHING. Next ski season give some of these tricks a try…
  2. With the majors, The Masters, USGA (US Open), The PGA Championship, and the R&A (The Open Championship) most of the top players in the world will stay with the PGA. The LIV tour maybe more like a venue for the +40 crowd and lower ranked players to make some money. To me, it’s like the USFL, good players that are competing, but I am just not interested in following the league.
  3. Any more of the Crouser family have college age kids available? A display of titles and awards from just that family alone is impressive. Never hurts to have world class javelin, discus, or shot put people on the track team.
  4. I like that scenario. I am no so sure they will fall flat on their face. However, the rest of the PAC 12 will sure be sick and tired of hearing how they are going to dominate the conference. I say, Not so fast Troy boys. You haven’t won anything yet. Let’s see where you stand at the end of November.
  5. Buddy of mine has the convertible GT. Pearl white, with a deep rumble note from the exhaust. Beautiful car. Stock photo below.
  6. Micah is in the first heat.
  7. AB was ranked 7th in our conference in passing yards per game. With that high of a completion percentage that tells us what we already know…most of his passes were completed relatively close to the line of scrimmage. I can live with a completion percentage around 60% if we are throwing the ball downfield more often. QB 1 will definitely determine how far this team can go. I remain very optimistic.
  8. The beauty of that is the guys painted orange and shirtless slowly getting hypothermia as the get annihilated…lol
  9. Entertaining flash back. The crowd shots made me laugh. The first of back to back years the Ducks kept the rodents out of the Rose Bowl. Hope you enjoy . (If it doesn’t play, click on YouTube on the bottom corner)
  10. Football gets real at this level. Absorbing hits at full speed by these guys could end up being a very bad day.
  11. My thoughts go to an example like Justin Flowe. He has a good year and he could be off to the NFL….really hope to see him dominate this year, but would be sad to see him leave. Paying huge NIL $$$$ for a player that plays for one year under this scenario certainly doesn’t generate the “return” anticipated (not knocking down Flowe, just an example ). These types of scenarios will play out over the next few years and I hope will bring some sanity to how NIL is approached by each team. While the “big name” QB recruits will probably always generate more NIL revenue under the current system. There will definitely be problems in some locker rooms between the “haves and have nots”. Young men with lots of cash…what could go wrong? Someone is probably writing a movie script as we speak reflecting this type of scenario. A more sensible approach to the NIL payouts to be inclusive of all the players is what I would recommend if I had a voice inside of Division Street.
  12. Kind of makes you want to dance.
  13. What I like about Coach Lanning is that he didn’t wait around hoping something good would happen because of his work ethic. He went out and created opportunities for himself. In a very short time he went from a high school position to working for some very prestigious coaching staffs in the college ranks. He connects with the players, but perhaps more importantly he connects with coaches and has gained their respect. While I expect some bumps in the road because of the learning curve associated with coaching at an elite level. I anticipate that those bumps get smoothed out quickly. Oregon could be a dream job for him. Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted, in one moment, would you capture it? Or let it slip? I think Lanning and his staff will capture it even if their palms are sweaty, knees weak and arms are heavy… Look forward to watching his team and staff drop some bombs on the PAC 12.
  14. Point is, we were a LOT closer to a 9-3 year than folks want to admit." They spent all Spring and Fall practicing to hang 7 points on the Grizzlies last year. Seems to me they were much closer to 3 - 9.
  15. Memorial Day, A day set aside to remember those who have served in our military services. May we have gratitude to the the many brave men and women who sacrificed their lives, or sustained injury in mind and, or body in the course of their service.
  16. Ebb and flow of golf.
  17. HC Brandon Staley’s background is defense. I suspect that with a few more personnel changes they will become a better defense. Their defense does very poorly against the run. They are decent in pass coverage. They also have Mike Williams and some solid young receivers to accompany the “triplets”. Herbert has a lot of targets available to him when he drops back to pass. Herbert is definitely the main ingredient of the triplets.
  18. Responding to orange feet. Unfortunately, another loss at Autzen. Same year as the “Cal uniform”. Btw…The blue uniform day was also Justin Herbert’s first start his freshman year, and broke our 12 game win streak over the pups. Hope we go at least 20 in a row on our current win streak.
  19. Is Justin Flowe ready to play?
  20. I like the combination. Some uniforms are more appealing to me than others. I have never been one that needs to see green and yellow every game day. I know which team on the field or court is the Ducks ; ) However, after some losses while wearing non-typical colors, I would like to unceremoniously burn a few combos. This uniform never needs to see the light of day again. Can anyone name the team that beat us that day, and significance of the game?
  21. Great memories. Went to that game. My buddy bought tickets right in the middle of a bunch of cocky USC fans. That day, Kenyon completely silenced those guys. The best part is the cocky fans got cranky, and then left early. Career day for him in the Coliseum. Thank You Kenyon.
  22. Excitement is contagious. If a top recruit is excited about his opportunity then it is helpful to have him out there talking Up the Duck program. In the end, maybe none of the guys he chats with commit to Oregon, but they all will remember having that conversation. What’s good about that is those guys may know someone else that might fit a need for the program. Never hurts.
  23. For those that got to watch Bo Jackson play in college and the NFL that was a special time. What an amazing athlete. Watching him break bats like twigs in baseball was always entertaining. Love watching his highlights in both sports. That play pretty much ended Bosworth’s football career. Of course, most NFL defensive guys had their hands full with Bo Jackson.
  24. Hope he arrives on a sunny day…lol
