  4. I actually think the OL is the weak link in Oregon’s offense. They were impressive against Ohio State last year and that is because the DC refused to make adjustments. From that point on they failed to impress. None of them were very good in the Spring game, either. Tons of sacks and very few rushing yards. If UGA dominates them, it won’t surprise me.
  5. Please do not relent from your standards. I was talking about this site to my wife the other day about how it should be used as the standard for community social media pages. Our neighborhood/community has its own Facebook page and sometimes I read the comments on my wife’s IPad. The site is a total disaster. It’s a great example of why I gave up Facebook long ago. However, sometimes I have to witness the train wreck to catch up on who I need to avoid when I’m out and about. It usually starts out with an innocent post from somebody asking for help or advice about something mundane like best landscape company, electrician, general contractor, etc. This is typically followed up by the smart aleck who berates them for not using the search function. Then, a couple people will suggest their favorite companies which is followed up by people attacking said companies for unethical practices which leads to a side battle with personal attacks. If that isn’t enough, the community “know it all” has to chime in and tell the person that the project that they’re requesting the workers for violates the covenants. This is typically followed up with the section(s) of the covenants being copied and pasted directly into a Facebook post. Usually, 5+ pages worth. This is typically followed up with several arguments about the spirit or intent of the covenants. Throw in several complaints about everything from speeders to slow moving golf carts to “too many deer” and you’ve got yourself and day’s worth of drama. I won’t even get into the never ending episodes of “Days of Our Volunteer Lake Patrol” that always play out on the page. I don’t know what’s worse. The idiots who can’t follow simple boating etiquette or the Lake Patrol’s Gestapo tactics. If this was painful for you to read then I hope it provides the motivation to keep the “undesirables” off this site.
  6. I remember those fake injuries. The guy who ordered them is our DC. Cal Suspended Defensive Line Coach Tosh Lupoi For Fake Injury Against Oregon WWW.SBNATION.COM We now know what the consequences were for the California football program in the fake-injury controversy: Defensive line coach Tosh Lupoi was suspended for the loss to Washington on...
  7. Franklin and Thornton can exploit any defensive backfield in the nation. They just need the right QB (and OC). I think the OL is overrated. The same thing was said about the 2019 OL and Auburn’s DL abused them. Granted, those guys were studs.
  8. I think UGA gets a few more scores due to the “Bo” factor. He’s probably going to give them a short field for a TD or two. It may end up like the 2011 LSU game. Turnovers can change the trajectory in a heartbeat. I know it works both ways but, Bennet is a seasoned national champion. He is good at getting the ball in the right hands.
  9. Yes. He was hurt his first year. Knee surgery I think. He seemed healthy last season. I don’t recall any injury reports. MC may have been trying to bring him back slowly.
  10. I like Frost. He left to take a HC job at UCF. Nothing wrong with that. However, I think his huge flaw is that he doesn’t like putting in the effort for recruits. It was easy in Orlando. He could fill his roster with local kids using his car to go recruit them. Now, the FL traffic is no joke, but he could visit a ton of kids and still be home for dinner.
  11. Something tells me this dude was underutilized last season. I realize they played a FCS team, but he looked really good yesterday. So did Pittman. Newcomer Report: Trey Benson shines in FSU's win over Duquesne 247SPORTS.COM Newcomer Report: Trey Benson shines in FSU's win over Duquesne

  13. ESU Timberwolves with Alvin Mack trash talking opposing offenses. Let’s also not forget the late, great Coach Winters.
  14. Thornton and Franklin are are more dangerous than Cota and Chapman, but they’re all going to get plenty of reps. I’m hearing Kasper is doing well and would like to see him get some reps. Hutson and McGee should see equal time.
  15. Oregon shows off incredible new mural inside Moshofsky Center ahead of new season SATURDAYOUTWEST.COM Oregon’s Moshofsky Center officially has a facelift. The Ducks showed off the completed interior paint job for their indoor training facility and it looks incredible. Former Nike creative director Todd Van Horne helped with the design. Freshest out. 17. Dan Lanning could take Oregon’s QB competition right up to kickoff against Georgia SATURDAYOUTWEST.COM The only thing Dan Lanning will tell us about Oregon's quarterback starter is that it won't be him.
  18. The DB’s were well represented. That’s a tough team to make as a CB or Safety. A lot of great ones didn’t make it. I also think that Wesley Mallard should’ve been one of the LB’s just because of his name.
  19. Freshman wideout Kyler Kasper impressing Oregon’s coaches in fall camp SATURDAYOUTWEST.COM Freshman Oregon wideout Kyler Kasper has had a strong camp.
  20. He has great size, but he ran a very slow 40 time for a CB. I don’t think he got a free agent contract. Hopefully, he pops up in the USFL or XFL.
  21. No surprises here. However, I’m surprised Cam Hunt actually made it to the NFL. NFL 2022 roster cuts tracker: Running list of team-by-team moves, preseason cuts for all 32 clubs WWW.CBSSPORTS.COM
