Yes, we've had some tough losses down here, but the actual record shows that over nearly the last quarter century, generally speaking, we've performed quite well @ ASU. I don't remotely care what ASU did last week to UCLA in Pasadena. If Oregon shows up this afternoon, which they will, ASU is quickly going to get smacked hard, and we will win this game running away by around 25 points.

To me, that's like saying that all the words to a great classic like Moby Dick or The Sun Also Rises have always been around... and all Melville and Hemingway did was just put the words together.

I've heard that comment from many Duck fans over the years, but it never quite set right with me. Therefore, I had to waste a few minutes and look it up. Why? Because I'm a stats Nerd. Since 2000: - At Arizona State, Oregon is 8-3. - At Arizona, Oregon is 7-2. So while our Ducks had better not underestimate or overlook this Sun Devil team on Saturday, in reality, the desert has been 73% & 70%, respectively, good to our Ducks for almost the last quarter-century. And it's time to take that Tempe stat to 9-3 since 2000.

My best guess is that once we enter the B1G next year, the amount of ref complaining will be roughly the same.
