Ducks Move to No. 3 in Both Polls
If it's a close and well played game, I think the loser will only fall about 4 or 5 spots.

ESPN Power Rankings - Ducks No. 2, OSU No. 1
I love my Ducks as much as the Duck, but I have to say that through five games, I don't see the No. 2 or No. 3 team in the nation. Top 10 for sure, but not No. 2 or No. 3. However... and this is the awesome part -- I do believe that we have all the pieces to be No. 1. And I can not imagine a more tremendous opportunity to prove that than this Saturday in Eugene. All the eyes of college football will be on Autzen Stadium & Rich Brooks Field. It's almost like all the stars in the universe aligned for this moment in college football space & time. Over the past 50 years, off the top of my head, I cannot remember a bigger game/opportunity in Eugene than this one. GO DUCKS!

Bo Nix Stands Up Big for Teammate
What a painful miss. I don't recall hearing in college that he had issues hanging onto the ball. He always was such a rock star in games. Hopefully he figures it out. And I love seeing Bo sticking up for him.

Brief Ty Thompson Sighting
I got to watch him play high school ball a few times and the kid was a phenom. I hope we can figure it out.

No Ducks Game, but A Lot of Good Games On Today
Talk about new meaning for the term "The 12th Man." Crap like this just damages the sport.

No Ducks Game, but A Lot of Good Games On Today
Da Bears... What a shame a lousy way to give a game away.

GameDay Thread vs Michigan State!
Funny you would say that. Right before I read your comment, I removed the word "way" from my description.

GameDay Thread vs Michigan State!
What the heck is wrong with DG? I'm hoping he has a nasty cold or something. He's just been off pretty much all night... except for that perfect TD pass.

So Ferguson Had to Leave the Game, and it was NOT Targeting?
100%. I think it definitely was a targeting call, but at a minimum, Addison should have been called for unsportsmanlike conduct following his horrendous hit. His gloating over Ferguson was beyond disgusting. Absolutely loved Dillon's reaction. UCLA played a lot of cheap shot, and dangerous, football.

History of "Cancer Uni's" For This Weekend, and We Lost the Greatest "Fighting Duck"
I just found your write up from 2018 about Jerry's movie "Tranlated." Frankly, I had never heard of it, but I just found it for free on the Roku Channel and I'm looking forward to watching it tonight. I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. He sounds like a very wonderful person and someone I would have liked to have known.

Was That an Unsatisfying Three-Touchdown B1G Road Win to YOU?
I think that when perhaps a majority of fan expectations/hopes is the National Championship Game, or nothing... And knowing that OSU will be in town in 2 weeks, watching our offense perform nearly lights out for 2 quarters, and then get nearly shut down in the second half, is rather concerning and definitely not satisfying. In fact, if the expectation/hope is to play in NCG, last night, while showing moments of brilliance, was also quite disconcerting and unsettling. We all welcome the W, but nowadays, many just view that as the bare minimum price of admission. Even if it is a 21 point road win. If that had happened 40 years, and at the Rose Bowl, most of us would have been overjoyed. Oh how the times, and especially the expectations, have changed.

Fake Injuries: Who Needs Time-Outs Anymore?
That's too funny. I didn't know that. I tried to attach a link to a bunch of the Cal players faking injuries in that game, but for some reason could not attach it. I was at that game and the Cal fake injury acting was absolutely unbelievable... and it just kept coming. But somehow, we pulled out one of the ugliest wins I've ever seen... 15-13. https://youtu.be/BEr6tHeuKnA?si=axz877sFYVm_TrWG

Fake Injuries: Who Needs Time-Outs Anymore?
The greatest display of faking that I've ever seen by a mile was when we played @ Cal in 2010. It was a beautiful day at Strawberry Canyon, and Cal nearly succeeded in beating us. Here's one of just many fake Cal injuries that day.

Fake Injuries: Who Needs Time-Outs Anymore?
I'm kind of wondering, with the number players having 'injuries' in a game, who needs time outs anymore?

How Far Does Miami Drop?
If Oregon, Penn, and Utah all win and perform really well, Miami might drop 1 or 2 spots. But it also wouldn't surprise me is they didn't drop at all. I think the powers that be really want a highly ranked ACC team.
