  1. Speed, talent like they have not seen. Best D they will have seen by far. It won't be close. 53-17 maybe, they score on our backups in the 2nd half
  2. Once again, sooooo based on this year, and pumping up the blue bloods, errrrr, has-beens. aTm, Michigan, Clemson, USuC...even tOSU. Don't see any of them that high next year.
  3. I read they were considering changing the date to accommodate UH stadium situation, which would mean losing one of our bye weeks...August 24th is it or we lose a bye week, so I'm just saying if UH can't handle that date, don't play them.
  4. I'm not surprised at all with Shelstad, I think he'll be a lot better than Pritchard by next year, it's just if he'll stay for 3 years...I think if Cook was healthy, he and Shelstad and Evans are going to be a huge core starting group. Keep Dante healthy, and Kario and the other guards...look out. Curious on thoughts about the bigs being out...are we better? One good big has never hurt, especially for the D side, against teams with a great 4 or 5...but Altman's history has been more of a small-ball style with great passing, and shooting, which the last couple years, we have not shot well at all. Bittle and Dante didn't seem to compliment that well when they were both healthy, they are both really the same position, didn't seem to blend trying to play 4 and 5 together. Seemed better giving each other a breather. Big's that can shoot the perimeter are the rage nowadays...how does that fit DA's style?
  5. I mean in terms of rescheduling...more important to keep the bye's then having a game 13. The $$ is not important for us.
  6. Keeping the bye weeks is more important for us.
  7. Former Oregon State kicker Atticus Sappington commits to Oregon WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM Oregon has added a proven kicker.
  8. The X drive cars have been around a long time (4WD). The X3 and X5 (SUVs) are more recent.
  9. I didn't know BMW ever made any front wheel drive cars. They can actually be good in snow, more weight is over the drive axle typically. Modern (studless) snow tires make 4WD unnecessary unless it's really deep. I live in Central Oregon too. I've had Accords and we have a newer turbo Jetta now (with a stick shift). Got my fricken-150 of course. Did anyone get anything else out of that article?
  10. Bottom line, win. A loss regular season is still playoffs, at 11-1, 12-1, even 11-2 possibly with a 12 team playoff. But win a championship? Just win. Gotta win out after December 1st.
  11. Please don't fo that to Justin, please...
  12. But you adapt quickly, every road game except Utah or Wyoming you feel like the O2 is on...and visitors have a slight disadvantage
  13. Not many recruits here either, but my morning view is worth a great steak, however you cook it. 5 star view. Merry Christmas everyone. Go Ducks!
  14. Because Florida State has won 2 National Championships in the past 10 years (beating top SEC teams), brings lots of eyeballs for TV advisers while expanding the media market footprint and further opens up the talent rich Florida recruiting market? Uh, I believe they got one natty 10 years ago, previous titles were in '99 and '93? 2013 they beat SEC Auburn, but '99 was Virginia Tech (then Big East) and '93 was Nebraska (then Big-8) so 1 title (Which WAS over an SEC team) in the last 24 years.
  15. Helf, great OC and QB coach/developer, not so great at recruiting (better than Chip, and Helf is the one who found Marcus) but not so good at picking a DC. Times change
  16. So this is Don Pellum's kid???
  17. Keep their best players in the B1G...come to Oregon, if DL thinks they can help 😆
  18. Helf was both, and excellent at both. Chip...wasn't he QB coach too when he was OC? Dennis Dixon went nuclear under Chip in one season. Heismann and Natty both went down with the knee in the ASU game. Justin Roper developed well in just 6 weeks, was 4th or 5th string when DD went down.
  19. Thompson worked under 3 coordinators, the last two are known for developing QBs. Hayward Duck is right, you have to pick the right guy. 5 stars in high school don't always pan out. It's not all on the coaches. Mariota and Herbert were special talents. MM had good coaches, JH did too with Helf for 1 year, but not under Mari. He was just good.
  20. Hopefully we blow them out and they go 6-6 with their G5 schedule
