  1. Ducks win of course 63-24 4 take aways 4 sacks 408 passing yards
  2. 59-24 is going to be my prediction
  3. My 8-4 prediction for USuC this season could even be 7-5. Which just brings more joy and laughter
  4. I agree, trap game potential, ASU on the road too. We'll be ready for the final CW and the beevz, and USuC, and (hopefully) mutts rematch in Vegas. But I'm going to say Oregon 60, Cal 10. Feed off the SLC intensity
  5. I liked Masoli leveling the Oklahoma State guy in the Holiday bowl. And the other OSU barkratt safety a year later in the 2009 Civil War that sealed the win
  6. Defense, and coaching. UW this year, coaching, not an opposing HC who was an OC. USuC will not have seen an offense like ours, nor perhaps OSU, other than when they play UW. We'll have more balance than UW by far, more than either of them will see all year. We get them both at Autzen, and Cal. ASU is an OC HC, and we will know him well. I don't see that as a trap desert game, we're too much better. Neither USuC or beevz has seen or will see a defense as good as ours...I can say after yesterday's result in SLC
  7. Not sure what I'm more impressed with right now...offense or defense. At Rice-Eccles no less...
  8. Oregon Wins 45-20 3 take-aways, no turnovers 3 sacks 332 passing yards
  9. I predicted 8-4...same as Helton's pre-season number 4 or 5 ranked USuC teams. Would love to see the year they actually finished 5-7, but I'll laugh all the way about 8-4 too
  10. It was raining too...Penix not built for mutt land
  11. Crap-12 officiating is one thing I'll be happy to see fade into history
  12. Let's hope home team loses next week...in SLC at least
  13. ASU 7-0 in Seattle
  14. I know Utah will be tough, but USuC is getting exposed the last few weeks, they are still over rated
  15. Secondary getting eaten alive. Not much pressure even rushing 4.
  16. I know right? So many of our pass completions start BEHIND the line of scrimmage...getting worried about Utah, but right now...how did AZ beat these guys 44-6, in Pullman???
  17. Let's go, get over it, start lighting it up
  18. Oregon wins 54-17 4 take aways 3 sacks 386 passing yards
  19. Couldn't believe they handed it off to Jordan James on the 3rd and 2 with 8 in the box, up the middle, just felt like Mari Cristbal nightmares all over again...no RPO or pitch option or something to get to the edge? I seriously felt we lost the game right there, and knew it in my stomach. One first down and clock runs out
  20. I just looked at the box score...we won everything but 4th down...0-3, they were 2-3. 2 field goals and we win. This is on Lanning. Box score suggests we won by at least 10.
  21. 100% on Lanning. 0 for 3 on critical 4th downs. 2 would have been chip shot FGs, we'd have been up at the end. And hand off up the middle, on that drive with under 3 minutes? 3x? Reeked of Mari. They knew it was coming. Just needed that first down, all the innovative options to get the edge??? Offensive play calling was suspect too
  22. Oregon wins of course 67-34 4 take-aways (we have no turnovers) 4 sacks 443 passing yards (mostly Bo, Ty some at the end) Don't laugh, we're gonna throw the mutts out with the hydrants. I'm gonna win this one of these days...got one last year.
  23. Ehhh...start putting pressure on Penix and I say they are very beatable
  24. Oregon wins of course, 66-17 4 take-aways (no turnovers by us) 5 sacks, none for our QB's 414 passing yds (311 rushing)
  25. Agreed. Hopefully the secondary gels, it's early and lots of new faces, it should get better with the talent level, hopefully Hawaii is a chemistry builder. As the high 4* and hopefully more and more 5* recruits come in, this D can be elite. The questions about Tosh and his true role, and if it's actually a liability--linger for me. Colorado, mutts, and USuC will require big output from the Offense, as well as continuously improving D. Speaking of the Offense, while Charles has pointed out losing 4 starters, yet with transfers we have more career starts with this group actually...we had our share of penalties, though not all holding...but, it seemed like we got pushed around a bit. I'm hoping that is a chemistry thing too with all the new guys/new roles. TT was a tough road environment, and PSU was not a legit measuring stick for anything. Improvement on the O-Line and Oregon level running game needs to show up in the Pac, although TT may have actually had one of the better D-lines we'll see this year. Stein's play calling was a bit of a concern--some of those 3rd and shorts were reminiscent of Cristbal's super predictable pistol plunges that got stuffed repeatedly. The second QB sneak, and the Jordan James run late where he failed to even go down inbounds to keep the clock going, from what looked like 13 personnel--I saw that play fail before it even began. C'mon Stein, let's see the UTSA innovation, you have the talent! CK woulda spread those out and had some kind of triple option play that gets that first down.
