Oh Wow: I Do NOT Like the Cookies and Cream Uniform...Is it Legal or Even Sensible for Them to Wear Shorts?
Add me to the "geezers for guano" crowd. I think they look sharp. 😇

Can Lanning Keep This Team from 'Stony-Brooking' It?
Mario’s teams would have lost to WSU. Lot of mental toughness shown.

All Those Penalties?...Player Accountabilities During Practice
When you see so many false starts by experienced, good players I think you have to look at systemic issues. Perhaps it is lack of concentration but it could be partially something the coaches are making too complicated. Could also be something Nix is doing. The other penalties, especially personal fouls, well that is just stupidity and immaturity.

Big Man to Ducks?
I trust these coaches to be good judges of talent and character. Not many 5* linemen. Most 5* are "skill position" players and are limited to 32 players.

New Low for the Portal and NIL ?
I agree. For players that do this, they should immediately lose their scholarship.

Win Out and a Playoff Spot is Likely There for the Ducks
IMHO, Oregon is to undisciplined and too weak against the pass to make it through. Bo Nix is still throwing deep into double teams. We’ll see but the chances are low.

Would Somebody Please Pay Me THIS MUCH to Go Away?
Oh how I miss plod ball and losing to Stanford. <end sarcasm>

Did YOU Like Our Uniforms vs Stanford?
I liked them though I’m probably the only 60+ year old fan here that does. The bright colors were the only way I could track the shifty Bucky Irving. 😇

Bad Officiating Again
I blame the penalties on the players. This game seemed to me an average officiating job. Most calls accurately made. A couple missed plays including a false start by Stanford. All in all an acceptable job by the refs.

End of 'Shout' as We Know It?
My rule. When you have no penalties at this point of the game, then the players can join the fun.

Penalties a Serious Problem
Yeah, very disappointing. I was shouting at my TV. And, no it wasn’t the refs. They made a couple mistakes but Oregon was just undisciplined and sloppy. Good thing this was not one of the good Stanford teams. We’ll lose a game this year due to penalties if this continues.

Robbie Ashford: QB Auburn
Ty looked lost and uninspired. Talk about playing yourself out of playing time. He just doesn’t look like a good QB.

Bad Officiating Again
Seven Magee hit two Stanford players in the head. Everyone else was shoving and pushing. He deserved his penalty. The horse collar was phantom. Lot of dumb mistakes by Oregon. Frustrating to watch.

ESPN and Dish
Reading the news, both Sling and Dish having this problem. Lots of PISSED customers.

UCLA vs. Washington Game Thread
I wasn’t that impressed by either team. Neither had a defensive. Lots of badly missed tackles. UCLA was lucky WA didn’t start playing hurry up earlier.

WOW, What if the Pac 12 Went All-in with Amazon
Pac-12-Amazon partnership: Why not go way beyond media rights? WWW.MERCURYNEWS.COM Amazon can provide way, way more than a streaming home for games. Here is the link. These articles often show up on free sites. Personally, I think it is worth considering as long as the negatives are considered (increased regulation of the Amazon monopoly/oligopoly is one such risk).

WOW, What if the Pac 12 Went All-in with Amazon
I’m sure a OBD member would be glad to help. P.S. you don’t need a smart tv.

1/3 Regular Season Update: Dillingham / Lanning Offense Compared to Prior Years
I love this stuff. Given the growth of our team a rolling average would be great. 😋

Circa 2012: Lanning Replicates Bend-But-Don’t-Break Defense
“Cristobal no-score offense,” “plod ball,” “prevent offense," etc. we need a poll on the readers’ favorite term for the Cristobal offense. 😋😎

Circa 2012: Lanning Replicates Bend-But-Don’t-Break Defense
I’d love an article about our personnel and what personnel limitations are pushing Lanning in this direction. Preseason thought was that we had the players for a more aggressive defensive. That appears optimistic.

Not Noticing Quiet Perfection...
This is one area where the player was “coached up.”
