I would not be so sure on the public relations front. Though it might not mesh with the Eugene vibe an obvious effort was made to present the family dressed up and respectful. Every program with a coaching change will have de commitments so there will be lots to try to pick up. Several of Oregon's are defensive and may just flip back if they are still desired and the Georgia DC is hired.

MC seems to be a poor game manager. When you are so far behind that the running game can't possibly catch up you need to go with the best downfield passer. There was also no excuse for poor clock management at the end of the first half.

There was no time I thought Oregon might lose this game. The nature of the win was soon apparent as the 7 first down 167 yard joke of a game for Washington soothed my soul. With that weather the only chance the Huskies had disappeared with the difficulty of passing and perhaps the early interception was a blessing as the Ducks turned to a running game more likely to be successful.

When we had trouble filling Autzen during the 70s and 80s the game would have a high percentage of Husky fans. One year a Husky fan brought his yacht on a trailer and tailgated in our lots. Clever but very annoying.

It is hilarious he thinks the Huskies are academic rivals of Stanford.

"Evil" as I always refer to them as the Evil Huskies.

Watching Lake on the sidelines I have come to dislike him a lot. He complains about everything.
