  1. My brother just moved to the east coast from Washington state and is very frustrated in how late all the west coast games are. Thinks he may have to totally reset his waking hours as he is retired and can do so.
  2. My opinion and observation is Brown was clearly across the goal line when he had the ball stripped. Lack of a decent camera angle is frustrating. Every other angle showed what looked like a TD and logically it was a TD.
  3. So far I see no weakness. Solid play from all the top guys. Perhaps could use another point guard. I would like to see all the bigs used more.
  4. It perplexes me the refs are reviewing plays on a tiny monitor when everybody at home has giant screen TVs.
  5. There was no time I thought Oregon might lose this game. The nature of the win was soon apparent as the 7 first down 167 yard joke of a game for Washington soothed my soul. With that weather the only chance the Huskies had disappeared with the difficulty of passing and perhaps the early interception was a blessing as the Ducks turned to a running game more likely to be successful.
  6. When we had trouble filling Autzen during the 70s and 80s the game would have a high percentage of Husky fans. One year a Husky fan brought his yacht on a trailer and tailgated in our lots. Clever but very annoying.
  7. It is hilarious he thinks the Huskies are academic rivals of Stanford.
  8. "Evil" as I always refer to them as the Evil Huskies.
  9. Watching Lake on the sidelines I have come to dislike him a lot. He complains about everything.
  10. Disgusting they can transfer if they do not start in the first few weeks.
  11. Really need to know if the men were treated differently.
  12. Being willing to be mocked for my lack of football knowledge I have always wondered why no one tries 2 QBs. Brown would make a decent QB/RB and paired with one of the QBs that can actually throw downfield......
  13. The worst part of this is Oregon has the receivers. They will transfer or decommit if something does not change. Pittman should not be a slot receiver. Mario does not seem to trust new players. Mid season and Seven finally got some time only because of injuries. He looked great.
  14. Though a Husky Brock is one of my favorites.
  15. In the 70s and 80s I kept saying, "Rose Bowl in my lifetime".
  16. Charbonnet reminds me of Royce Freeman. Their other back is good. Hope the D shows up.
  17. The NIL thing will begin to influence where kids go to school. There will be huge upsides to being in a large media market. L.A. will once again dominate the Pac 12.
  18. The lack of excitement is off putting and will eventually lose the fans. However think about all the starters or almost starters that have been lost or missed games. . Several linebackers, our best running back and offensive lineman. A good tight end. A starting safety. Perhaps others not coming to mind. Over a quarter of the starters depending on how you count. Quality players that represent more talent than many Oregon teams have had. There is backup talent that will hopefully find their way. Writing off this team may be premature.
  19. At least we will not have the potential horrors of the OSU BB tournament game with two shades of orange present. Washed out orange vs garish orange.
  20. Georgetown, a barely over 500 team is not likely to beat Colorado. VCU has very good stats on blocked shots and steals.
  21. https://goducks.com/news/2021/3/12/track-and-field-viewing-guide-ncaatf-indoor-day-2.aspx I watched yesterday on the Roku ESPN app.
  22. The Oregon women recently won indoor track championships in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017 while the men won them in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
  23. Though somewhat off topic, I liked Ernie Kent but the difference at the end of games is remarkable. It always felt like Kent had no plan but Altman is a master of end of game situations. He wins most overtime games and in a season of close games like this it is all the difference.
